QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

*Managed all aspects of commercial production project/shoot in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was a technically challenging shoot. It involved pulling my talent in from various countries around the globe, overseeing the project and managing clients expectations. With a very challenging budget in a very financially depressed country, negotiation skills were at their peak throughout the project, from budgeting to project to completion. Scheduling and coordinating all travel and scheduling of production team and all clients. The result was a very happy client with a completed project delivered on time and on budget. *Managed the back stage production for the 2006 International AIDS Conferences opening gala show. This was not an assigned position but due to the lack of experience of the project manager, I was asked to take over at the 11 th hour. I lead and delegated duties to volunteers. Leading and managing the various local and international acts, politicians, celebrities as well as Bill and Melinda Gates, our Key Note Speakers, and managing hundreds of backstage personnel. This resulted in a very smooth international production that was delivered without flaws and on time. *To win or be awarded a project required good budgeting skills and most importantly, the presentation to the client. Working with my director (film director), analyzing the storyboard and developing a strategic, creative plan to meet the ad agency and clients objectives. The result was the awarding of the project and producing it as it was presented, to completion, on time and on budget. *Re-established a fledgling Production Company in Vancouver, B.C. in the position of Project Manager/Executive Producer and Marketing Manager. This meant re-engaging existing clients and marketing to new clients in both the Vancouver and Toronto Markets. Managing all projects and clients, internal and external. This resulted in a competitive company in the market place until parent company closed its doors. *Managed 3 executives in a highly fast paced and successful production company. Managing schedules, all travel of executives, creative talent and clients. Research on a per project basis for the executives and producers. Organized and managed all company events, presentations. Managed Executives on a priority basis including business expenses, internal and external meetings, correspondence etc. Managed general office needs and expenses. Assisted in the creative process for TV advertising.
