Dear Mr Junaid, It is with a heavy heart and sadness that my son Muhammad Suleman (Grade 8a) came home

yesterday. He was devastated to learn that you may no longer be part of his academic life. Clearly this is a loss to him personally and the school in general. When he first came to your class for English, he came home and said Dad, finally, I have an English teacher in Saudi Arabia who actually speaks proper English, and one that I can learn from. I want to express my sincerest gratitude for your hard work over the past two years. You should be congratulated for the innovative lesson plans you created. Muhammad particularly liked your introduction to Shakespeare, and more recently your commencement of speech writing. He still talks about it today. It is amazing that you have actually made learning English a joy. I would like to take a moment to quote something Muhammad wrote in his recent speech about you. It exemplifies your qualities as a teacher, and the respect my son has for you. Mr. Junaid will still impart his pearls of wisdom in his enchanting English lessons. He will help you rediscover the joys of the English language which will in turn help you become a global citizen and participate effectively anywhere in the world. Muhammad Suleman (Grade 8a, 2011) As you are aware, it is rare during this day and age for a teenager to say anything good about his teacher, let alone acknowledge the effort being made. So hats off to you Mr Junaid - it was a pleasant surprise to see Muhammad appreciate your efforts. Muhammad will always remember your encouragement for exploring his creative side and your prodding for him to perform at his peak. Because of you, he has taken such an interest in learning that will stick with him always. Over the past two years, I have also had the opportunity to interact with you during the parent meeting sessions. I also have found you to be a committed and dedicated teacher who has the interests of his pupils at heart. In addition you were willing to bring innovative teaching methods and use technology as part of your knowledge dissemination. For this, personal interest, I thank you. On behalf of Muhammad and the other students of the school, I would strongly urge you to reconsider the decision to leave the school. Our kids and the school will be the ultimate losers with your departure. On a personal level, thank you for all you have done, and for the dedication with which you imparted knowledge to our kids.
Regards
