Responsibility The responsibilit. for carr.ing out this #ethod Statement shall be that of the $iscipline 2ngineer9 &oremen, unless otherwise specificall. mentioned in this procedure. The *ualit. 2ngineer9 $iscipline 2ngineer9 &oremen shall be responsible for inspection - testing. In case of conflicting re=uirements with the manufacturer>s instructions or "ustomer>s specifications for installation and testing, then such re=uirements shall prevail in addition to the non8conflicting re=uirements of this procedure. Preparation The t.pe, model and rating of the switchgear?s@ to be installed shall be identified from the applicable electrical drawings 9 specification. The e=uipment to be installed shall be inspected, and it shall be ensured that the e=uipment is free from damages. The pacAing list shall be verified against the item?s@ for completeness of suppl.. +n. parts supplied loose during shipping shall be removed during erection of the e=uipment. Such loose parts shall be assembled as per the instructions of the manufacturer after erection of the e=uipment. The e=uipment foundations shall be checAed for compliance of the foundation bolt hole location, si e and t.pe. +n. variation in the foundation shall be corrected prior to installation of the e=uipment. The e=uipment shall be installed and fiBed 9 grouted on the foundation in conformance with the applicable drawing?s@. &or switchgears supplied in different shipping sections, the individual shipping sections shall be placed together and levelled as per the 5+ drawing. The sections shall be assembled to form one single switchgear. The bus bars for power, control suppl. and earthing of the various sections shall be interconnected as per the wiring diagrams. &or connecting the bus bars, the hardware and accessories supplied along with the switchgear shall be used. +fter levelling the e=uipment, the smooth in 9 out operation of the withdrawable t.pe modules shall be checAed. Circuit Breaker Test Chen the switchgear is provided with circuit breaAers, checAs 9 tests as detailed in Circuit Breaker Testing Report &orm 3o. # - 2 *",&orm8 00'8 0)9 :2V. 0 shall be carried out and the results shall be recorded. If the LV switchgear is provided with independent "T operated protection rela.s, other than integral overloaded short circuit protection, then the tripping of the breaAer through these rela.s shall be checAed. Starters / Switch Fuse Unit Test Chen the switchgear is provided with starters and 9 or switch fuse units, such items shall be checAed 9 tested as per details in Starter / Switch Fuse Unit Testing &orm 3o. # - 2 *",&orm8 00'80'9 :2V. 0, and the results shall be recorded.
