Vacancy Position: Chaparral HS Geometry
This was a very challenging job for me. This vacancy was very time consuming and took
a lot of planning. I am not a math major, so for me I had to work with several other math
teachers to stay on top of all the requirements that needed to be covered in that semester. I
was responsible for attendance, grades, withdrawals, emails, meeting with parents and
students, and progress reports; also quarter grades.

It was for 2 weeks until the contracted teacher moved down from Texas. It was a new
Principle at Sandy Valley ES and he asked me to fill in until the teacher had moved to Las
Vegas so she could take over for the new school year.
