19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors
locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be
with you!
20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed
when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 If you forgive anyones sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them,
they are not forgiven.
Jesus Appears to Thomas
24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve,
was not with the disciples when Jesus came.
25 So the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord!
But he said to them, Unless I see the nail marks in his
hands and put my finger where the nails were, and
put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 A week later his disciples were in the house
again, and Thomas was with them. Though the
doors were locked, Jesus came and stood
among them and said, Peace be with you!
27 Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger
here; see my hands. Reach out your hand
and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.
28 Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God!
29 Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have
not seen and yet have believed.

There are many deserves our thanks for making this Holy week very devotional. Our beloved
Bishop Mar J acob Angadiath, Other priests, Sisters, Altar servers, choir, Angels,Food Committee
and Kaikarans. There are people who doesnt belong to any committee also have helped us.
Dr Luke Vattamatom arranged the Thamukku on Palm Sunday and Mruvithara Ammachi
organized appom and palu for the Holy Thursday.
Fr George Peter S J is a best friend of this parish now. He is leaving back to India shortly.
On this occasion the Cathedral gratefully remembers his service. He was very helpful for us for the last two years as a
special confessor. Fr George we will miss you.
Those who brought Pesaha Appom, and Thamukku and arrange with Maruvithura Ammachi
Please assemble in the parish hall for a Sneha Virunnu immediately after this announcements.
There is a retreat taking place in Bishop Lane Center for students age from 15 and up by Fr Augustian Valloran V C from
August 11 through 14th. This will be a good preparation for students who are preparing for College and High School.
Registration is through online.
On Sunday 27th Blessed J ohn Paul II and J ohn XXIII would be raised to Sainthood in Rome by Pope Francis.
Same day we will celebrate the feast of these Saints together with the feast of Divine mercy in our Church.
CCD seniors graduation will take place on 27th Sunday at 9.30 am Holy Mass
There will be a pilgrimage to Velamkanni Matha Shrine in Washington D C on May 29.
Family Renewal convention is scheduled from J une 12th through 15th 2014. There will be a special track for Youth also.
Frs. J acob Manjaly, Sebastian Arikat and J oe Pachery would be the main speakers for this convention.
