(list specific steps you will take) 1. I will attend a speaking workshop, such as Toastmaster 2. I will video tape myself when speaking in front of class or large group. 3. I will make a conscious effort to slow down and invite constructive criticism from peers and mentors. When will I achieve this? Dec 2013
I have videotaped myself and watched, analyzed and selfreflected on my speaking presence in front of my students. I have made some gains, especially on providing wait time to my students when asking questions and my rate of speech. This will be a continuous self-improvement I will still want to improve on in the future. I would like to increase my knowledge and understanding of available resources and tools that are currently used to help ESE and ELL students so I can better serve them in my lesson planning.
I have subbed in a variety of ESE classes and sought mentoring from ESE teachers and liaisons on the different strategies to help this particular classroom environment. I feel I am much better prepared to help students with a variety of educational needs but still plan to take more classes and attend seminars.
1. I will attend workshops that may be offered by the county. 2. I will read professional development books on resources available and strategies suggested. 3. I will seek mentoring from ESE teachers and ESE liaisons in schools that I work and observe.
Dec 2013
I have made great strides in my math confidence. Math practicum and subbing has helped my math confidence and taught me strategies to teach my students who have math difficulties and confidence issues also.

I have attended different professional development training during internship that has given me a variety of classroom strategies. I have also been mentored by host teacher on many different manipulatives and how to integrate them into lessons across the curriculum.
During internship, I have read a variety of classroom management books to help me become efficient and productive in this area of teaching. I have sought weekly feedback from mentor and monitored how other teachers implement rules and handle classroom situations. I also attended a Kagan Collaborative Approach class. Although strides have been made, this is still something I would like to continuously improve on.
1. I will read more classroom management books and try to use strategies during sub teaching for practice. 2. I will seek advice from other educators or past professors for insight. 3. I will observe as many classrooms as I can to watch how other classrooms are set up. 4. I can video tape me so I can see how I am handling
