Position: MARKET RESEARCH ANALYSTS / MARKETING SPECIALISTS Immediate openings FULL TIME and PART TIME Possible travel requirement for early May, 2014

Immediate F/T and P/T openings to support project for development of marketing and business strategy for Asian companies seeking to enter the US Federal market. Washington Consulting Corporation (WCC) provides strategic advice, advocacy, and in-country support to companies bidding and performing U.S. and overseas government contracts and making cross-border transactions. Positions report directly to Lead Project Manager and will interface with client representatives. May require light travel to an Asian country at project start (May 2014), mid-point and conclusion. Responsibilities will include: Research of Statistically valid and current market size and demand in identified product/service fields; Support for the development and execution of marketing and business strategy for multiple foreign companies seeking enter the US market, including: o SWOT and competition analysis; o Appropriate marketing strategies for U.S. government market approach/entry; o Achievable goals and sales targets; o Specific action plans for identified opportunities; and o Identification/pursuit of required government and/or industry registrations. Production and presentation of monthly reports and progress summaries Preparation and submission of weekly communications with companies Support for production and preparation of mid-year and year-end report Travel Eligibility: Candidates are requested to advise if they are eligible to travel with Lead Project Manager to an Asian country. Expected dates of travel: early May 2014 (project kick-off); October 2014; and April 2015. Qualifications: Graduate student or Masters degree or Certificate; focus on International Trade, Global Business and Investment, Business Administration, International Business, Federal Procurement Interested in acquiring practical experience in business development and marketing Proven research capabilities; statistics and market analysis a plus Familiarity with writing business plans and marketing plans, SWOT and competition analyses a plus Good writing/ verbal communication skills; Proficient/Expert in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Washington Consulting Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
