Converting Ingres RDBMS to SQL Server 2012 Installed and configured Microsoft SQL Server 2012 on a Windows 2008 Server Ported SQL statements from Ingres to SQL Server to create over 1,000 tables and over 500 views Daily load of GOG clinical Ingres database into SQL Server in less than one hour using 16 Advanced Query Tool Extended Edition batch jobs and 16 scheduled tasks. Testing applications against SQL Server took less time having the same data in SQL Server and Ingres Completed Mediate Rave Study Design and Build Essentials (SDBE) and Mediate Rave Custom Function Programming Training after The National Cancer Institute mandated the use of Mediate Rave Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system to collect clinical data on all new NCI sponsored clinical trials. After training, created GOG clinical forms using Rave on several GOG protocols and wrote C# custom functions in Rave. To eliminate inconsistent patient adverse event data entered by sites in two different systems (GOG and NCI) I designed and developed C language applications to read XML and load into our database from the NCI AdEERS Query Wizard report containing all GOG Adverse events. Data Review System (DRS) checks were then created to find and report differences to GOG sites and internal GOG staff. Worked with the programming staff to port database Web applications from ASP to ASP.Net in effort to get off the older Window Servers. Worked with the programming staff to re-write Ingres 3GL C applications in ASP.Net and to port Linux contab jobs to run on Windows in an effort to get off Ingres. Enhanced, modified and supported legacy GOG Web applications Conducted database maintenance and support for over 1,000 tables and 500 views
