The show was divided into four sections, interspersed with poetry and illusions, and took months to prepare and rehearse. Elaborate dance routines were performed, various sets and props appeared on stage, and multiple costume changes were made - and not just by Kate. During one song, two members of the crew appeared, dressed as giant violins.
"Room For The Life" was performed by Kate from inside a large padded egg* as it was being rolled across the stage.

The wireless headset microphone used by Kate allowed her to dance freely - this was the first time such a device was used on stage.
Asa prank on the final night. one of the crew emerged from the dry ice on stage in a frog man sun -but Kate managed to continue performing.

VENUE
The venue used for the final shows of the 1979 tour, the Hammersmith Odeon, is a Grade II listed building which opened in 1932. It's now known as the Eventim Apollo, and is the chosen venue for Kate's new show, 'Before The Dawn', which will open in London in August 2014.
The penultimate show in London was recorded and released in several formats The "live On Stage" 4-track EP was released on bothdouble and single 7 inch vinyl, and reached Number 10 in the UK Singles Chart in 1979
"Kate 8ush- live at the Hammersmith Odeon was released on home video in 994 as a 198 1.and re-released on VHS in 1 boed set with a CD of the performance. There has never been any official release of the concert on DVD. or any highdefinition format
