NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (Public Footpaths Nos. 13 and 15 in the Community of Dyffryn Cennen) Public Path Diversion Order 2014 On the 30th April 2014 the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority conirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as conirmed is to divert that part of: 1. Public Footpath No. 13 running from grid reference 26498,22103 in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 25 metres to grid reference 26499,22102 then turning to a generally north easterly direction and proceeding for a distance of approximately 95 metres passing through the garden of Maesyfallen to grid reference 26508,22106; to a line running from grid reference 26498,22103 and proceeding in a generally south by west then south easterly direction for approximately 75 metres to grid reference 26501,22097 then turning to a northerly then north easterly direction for approximately 120 metres to grid reference 26508,22106; 2. Public footpath No. 15 running from grid reference 26499,22102 and proceeding in a south south easterly direction along a rough track and across an area of scrub for a distance of approximately 135 metres to grid reference 26504,22089; to a line running from grid reference 26501,22097 and proceeding in a generally south by east direction for approximately 110 metres to grid reference 26504,22089. A copy of the Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the ofice of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Plas y Ffynnon, Cambrian Way, Brecon, Powys between 9.00am and 4.00pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased there at a cost of 20p per side per sheet. The Order comes into force on the date hereof but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within 6 weeks from the date hereof make an application to the High Court. YOU CANT stay in a sports car all your life, as much as you might like to. This is something Ive discovered the hard way, but mainly because the kind of family car that ordinarily wouldnt appeal, has suddenly become highly desirable. For starters, its certainly in the running for the bestlooking estate on the market, modern estates arent just vans with windows any more. The Honda Civic looks sharp and thoroughly modern. It has curves and lines that you just dont expect from something with a big luggage area at the back. Its only when you stop and give it a real going over that you realise just how radical

it is. The Tourer offers up 624 litres of boot space with the seats up, and with the seats down and packed to the roof this goes up to a mammoth 1,668 litres. Theres a very sizeable under-floor area (117 litres to be precise) that should prove extremely useful. And because the Civics fuel tank is under the front seats, they fold almost perfectly flat in an instant. Its the same story in the cabin. Like the hatchback the layout is a little unusual with the digital display at the top and the analogue instruments below, and theres an information screen up top while the infotainment system sits in the middle.

Theres plenty of storage too and lots of connections for all sorts of devices I dont even own. Keyless entry and go is a nice luxury to have and the electrically adjustable lumbar and side supports will no doubt come in useful given the amount of time that will be spent in the hot seat. In the engine room its a bit of a no-brainer. The petrol option is a fine thing but with an official combined figure of 72.4mpg is too tempting to resist. Its only the bigger wheels on the higher specification versions that stops it sneaking under the 99g/km of barrier, so hopefully expensive fuel station visits will be few and far between.
