Application Plan
Data has been collected from all over the departments and its lead to consolidate the application plan for Reliable Pharmaceuticals Following is the is the next 5 year plan that will be implemented. For the application architecture plan, our team researched the functions and data of our organization and has determined the best solution. 5-year plan is to implement the following application solution 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Human Resource management system, (HRD) Accounting Improvement consist of new database technology Supply Chain management systems (SCM) Customer Support System Strategic information system (SIMS) Retail Store System (RSS)

We believe the implementation of new database technology will help the Reliable Pharmaceuticals prepare for the future as it expands into other markets. The database will have the capability to allow multiple users to access information at any given time. A phased approach will be used to move existing systems to the new one. This will reduce risk and minimize outage. Each individual in the project will be assigned tasks based on their area of knowledge and expertise. Tasks will consist of: Gathering of information related to database technology and conducing through analysis Researching privacy laws Deposal of customer information in accordance with law Risks and continuity Planning Potential issues needed attention before moving to the new system, Dos and Dont

Technology Architect Plan


The technology Architect plan for Reliable Pharmaceuticals will consist of the following: The critical business applications will be distributed across multiple systems and locations with fail over capabilities Web server form will be also be located and multiple locations and on multiple servers. Current Manual processes will be migrated to automated web systems SCM and CSS systems will be

It will need to support SCM and CSS. It will need to be a dynamic web site. It will also have to support a CRM that will link internal systems and databases. We will also have to tie in the Accounting/Finance system, HR system, and RSS and SIMS systems. These systems will all have to be seamlessly integrated with each other to be as flexible.

System Project Plan/prioritization


The following Tables show the timeline for implementation of different systems: 2-3 Months Human Resource management system will be implemented First. Human Resource management is back Office operation which after the implementation it provided accurate, consist and on demand information about employees, payroll. 6-9 months Accounting and financial management system will be implemented 2nd. Since there is lot of data in many different systems, which will need to formatted and ported over to the system database. It will require extra time. 6-9 Months Supply Chain Management Systems (SCM) Another critical system will run parallel to Accounting and Finance Systems. Since, supply chain management is critical for accurate deliver of orders, it will require additional time to work out any potential issues. This system will improve supply chain management, help with order processing, inventory, merchandizingetc 1-2 months Customer Support Systems (CSS) This systems depends on the successfully implementation of Accounting, and supply Chain management system and therefore it will be tacked after the completion of step 2 and 3 1-2 months Retail Store System (RSS) A retail store system is another critical system which be built open customer support systems, supply chain management, and Accounting and Finance systems. 1 month Strategic information system (SIMS) This phase of the project will be hand last. This will be ongoing effort to better align information resources, make improvements and future planning.
