Leadership is a set of activities to keep members of the team he led to become "willingly and fully commited" to the goals

and ideals of the organization which want to achieved. The results of study shows that an organization that has employees who are passionate and commited will make production more efficient and maximal compared with an organization whose members are not excited. Because of that, a leader must be enthusiastic and energetic and able to influence the spirit he has to his members. Leadership has basics foundation that have to be established between the leader and members, it is called trust. As quoted from the book The Speed of Trust: "If the Trust exists, everything is fast and easy. Trust which is already created between the members and leader, make all of them able to do their best potential. Trust has some foundation built, There are: 1. Competens A great leader is a competent leader in order to take the mission. A leader must have basic modal, like knowledge and experience. These are very useful to arrange the best steps to solve problems that can happen in the future. A leader must be clever enough to know his/her members potential in order to locate them in right position to maximalize their potential. A leader also can make training to increase the skill of his members.

2. Connections Organizations are consist of many people, and one thing to need is the ability to communicate to others. As a leader, communication skill is very important. With good communications, leader can tell what he need correctly and minimize the mistake. And also, leader can maintain the good relationship to his member. 3. Character Character is the way to lead, or you can say, leadership style. Leaders who have character are tend to be consistent and dont get easily influenced by the others. Leadership DNA Is a basic modal which all the great leader must have. There are: 1. Drive and passion At the real world, challenge are coming over and over again. There is no organization which only have to dealt with one problem. Its a leaders job to lead the members to get out from problem with arranged and clever steps. To create

that, a passion is crucial. Passion can maximalize our potential. Passion that the leader have, will spread into another organization member and make work place condusive

2. Desire to lead Desire or willingness to lead. Decisions which taken by a leader is not always going to work, some of them will be led to the failure, The leader soul is tested when organization he led is at bad situation. With desire, you would enjoy that as a challenge and not as a burden. 3. Integrity This is important to get trust from people around us 4. Self confidence A leader needs to be believe for what he decides for organization. Even though thats not always right. 5. Intelligence Intelligence is used to make a decision for sake of organization. With good knowledge, we know what we do, what step must we take to make organization better than now. 6. Job relevant knowledge That means a leader have to know a lot something matching with organizitions field work. For example: if organization operating at food industry, than he must know anything about that. Including the prospect, opportunities, and others. Leaders role 1. Create vision Is an ability to create vision and organizational goals. With resources we have, capable to maximalize that in order to do organizational mission to achieve organizational goal. 2. Build team Must be smart to hire best people to organization, or a leader can train people who already in the organization to increase his/her skill. 3. Dividing Responsibilities

After hire the best people, leader must know what are their potential and then put them in right position based on their skills. 4. Develop people What is meant here is, the role of a leader to make a good place and facilities for the best place to develop the potential of each member. Do not be afraid to spend moneys for developing members potential skill, because, like charity, organization or company will not go bankrupt because of this program, in fact, the more profit is generated.

5. Motivate followers It is better to give an appropriate response for such services that members of the organization have done. Everyone would be happier if his work is recognized and appreciated. For that as a leader, to motivate its members, can be done by giving the award to the efforts of its members, both in the most simple thank you, to be awarded in the form charter, money, and others. It is important to create a feeling appreciated there. 4 key to the leader 1. Vision Its the idea about where the organization will be. With applying the rules which is ethics. 2. Know the position The point is, leaders know the position when starting to achieve the goals of the organization, both knowing about strengths and weaknesses, and match it to the position where we want to accomplish. Or at least it is still relevant and not making it up. 3. Ethics Which means obey the rules. Organizations that hold it consistently, will certainly gain the trust of other organizations. 4. Courage Which means courage. Courage must be owned by every leader in making decisions. Make decisions as well as taking risks. Because of course, not all decisions are always right and sometimes, one mistake can change the state of the organization to failure. Courage leader, they really tested at such times. Courage is responsible, prepare the best step to return the organization from adversity. That's the real leader.

Ethical perpection in Organization Ethics is a science that discuss about good behavior and what is supposed to do, but it is not discussed about what is really happened in society. Some of them are: 1. Justness Thats mean consistent to do something right, and not to get influenced by wrong behavior which many people think its right. For example: Bribing to win tender. . 2. Fairness This is the situation which each party getting the right parts. In other words there is no difference, as often happens now that many law in favor of those who have money.

3. Righteness Make something that is usually done to be true, even though it knew that it was wrong. Littering for example, At the environment of the residents are used to littering, it must be true because its considered usual, but of course it's wrong, and and its an unethical behavior. 4. Truthfullnes That means honesty. Honest in acting, honest in making decisions, and the others. If this is consistently applied, then the organization will be trusted. Organizational Ethics Is the response of organization to response to a stimulus, there are: 1. Written code of ethics Contains rules, which contains what is allowed and what is not. The form is usually written. Every organization has different rules depending on how you want to respond to the state of destination. 2. Ethical training Conducting training in order to get used to obey to the rule / ethic code that applies. Applicable rules that trained before, could be changed following the stimulus / events from the outside. 3. Avaibilities for advice for ethical situation

The existence of ethics council advisor that serves to remind the members of the organization to not to do unethical behavior. 4. System of confidential supporting It is a system that has a reporting agencies to report unethical acts. Ethics model in organizations 1. Internal organization influences - Ethical codes: codes of ethics in a particular / specific culture. - Organizational culture: Formed from appreciated behavior and nonappreciate. It will form the character of the members of the organization as a response for the organizations stimulus. - Organizational Size: The larger the organization, more problems that must be faced. - Organizational structure: It is caused by the influence of the organizational structure, eg: someone who is not competent placed in important, it will be a bad influence for the organization. - Company strategy Large companies tend to do bad things for its purpose because it feels like was already in power, feels like supported by a large network. But not all companies are like this. 2. External organizational Influences - Political legal - Industrial culture - Nations culture

3. individual Influences - Personality : This effect comes from the diverse behavior. It could be good or bad influence. - Values: Is the influence of the value that is different for each person, whether moral, ethical, moral,etc - Moral principles : Depend on the members moral value. - Envoirement : Most of peoples behavior are influenced by invoirement.

Why do people apply unethical? 1. Feels like no one will found it 2. Unethical behavior that does not agaisnt law 3. Doing for the sake of the organization 4. Organizations will protect you, but it is not. Examples of violations 1. Using the company's goods for personal 2. Conducting personal interests at work 3. Pretended to be sick to get a day off 4. Acknowledging the work of the job 5. Falsifying financial statements 6. deceive consumers 7. Bribery 8. Badmouthing about competition 9. Escaping the law
