Congratulations for taking the first step to further your education!
I am excited that you are here and looking forward to working with you. We have an exciting
year ahead of us – full of activities, discussions, projects and progress. Welcome aboard!

As a student you will receive: As a teacher, I ask that you

accomplishments and progress,
and timely feedback;
• Authentic and engaging
activities that are tailored to
your learning style;
• Help when you ask for
assistance;
• Encouraging words when
you are feeling down or
discouraged.
• Attending class regularly
and promptly – letting me know
when you won’t be in class;
• Respecting the school and
all of it’s members;
• Asking for help when you
need it;
• Helping me understand
your goals;
• Engaging and fully
participating in classroom
discussions, activities and
projects when appropriate;
• Following all directions
made in good faith;
• Giving your best effort
everyday!

As a teacher I will commit to:

• Building a positive classroom community, beginning with clear
guidelines;

support/hinder your completion;

that style;
