SUPPLIES
Ba$ing soda
*ashing soda
*hite distilled %inegar
A good li+uid soap or detergent
,ea tree oil
6 clean spray bottles
2 glass -ars
CREAMY SOFT SCRUER
.imply pour about 1/2 cup o! ba$ing soda into a bo"l, and add enough li+uid detergent to
ma$e a te'ture li$e !rosting. .coop the mi'ture onto a sponge, and "ash the sur!ace. ,his is
the per!ect recipe !or cleaning the bathtub because it rinses easily and doesn&t lea%e grit.
(ote: Add 1 teaspoon o! %egetable glycerin to the mi'ture and store in a sealed glass -ar, to
$eep the product moist. 0ther"ise -ust ma$e as much as you need at a time.
!IN"O! CLEANER
1/11/2 teaspoon li+uid detergent
3 tablespoons %inegar
2 cups "ater

2ut all the ingredients into a spray bottle, sha$e it up a bit, and use as you "ould a
commercial brand. ,he soap in this recipe is important. 3t cuts the "a' residue !rom the
commercial brands you might ha%e used in the past.
O#EN CLEANER
1 cup or more ba$ing soda
*ater
A s+uirt or t"o o! li+uid detergent
.prin$le "ater generously o%er the bottom o! the o%en, then co%er the grime "ith enough
ba$ing soda that the sur!ace is totally "hite. .prin$le some more "ater o%er the top. 4et the
mi'ture set o%ernight. 5ou can easily "ipe up the grease the ne't morning because the
grime "ill ha%e loosened. *hen you ha%e cleaned up the "orst o! the mess, dab a bit o!
li+uid detergent or soap on a sponge, and "ash the remaining residue !rom the o%en. 3! this
recipe doesn&t "or$ !or you it is probably because you didn&t use enough ba$ing soda
and/or "ater.
ALL-PURPOSE SPRAY CLEANER
1/2 teaspoon "ashing soda
A dab o! li+uid soap
2 cups hot tap "ater
6ombine the ingredients in a spray bottle and sha$e until the "ashing soda has dissol%ed.
Apply and "ipe o!! "ith a sponge or rag.
FURNITURE POLISH
1/2 teaspoon oil, such as oli%e 7or -o-oba, a li+uid "a'8
1/1 cup %inegar or !resh lemon -uice
Mi' the ingredients in a glass -ar. 9ab a so!t rag into the solution and "ipe onto "ood
sur!aces. 6o%er the glass -ar and store inde!initely.

#INE$AR "EO"ORI%ER
;eep a clean spray bottle !illed "ith straight < percent %inegar in your $itchen near your
cutting board and in your bathroom and use them !or cleaning. 3 o!ten spray the %inegar on
our cutting board be!ore going to bed at night, and don&t e%en rinse but let it set o%ernight.
,he smell o! %inegar dissipates "ithin a !e" hours. .traight %inegar is also great !or
cleaning the toilet rim. =ust spray it on and "ipe o!!.
MOL" KILLERS
Tea T&ee T&ea'(&e
(othing natural "or$s !or mold and milde" as "ell as this spray. 3&%e used it success!ully
on a moldy ceiling !rom a lea$ing roo!, on a musty bureau, a musty rug, and a moldy
sho"er curtain. ,ea tree oil is e'pensi%e, but a little goes a %ery long "ay. (ote that the
smell o! tea tree oil is %ery strong, but it "ill dissipate in a !e" days.
2 teaspoons tea tree oil
2 cups "ater
6ombine in a spray bottle, sha$e to blend, and spray on problem areas. 9o not rinse. Ma$es
t"o cups.
