The CEMA C and D rated idler roll allows you to move up to
tapered roller bearing technology, even on a tight budget. HC
idlers are permanently lubricated and available in belt widths
ranging from 18 to 60. HC idlers are available in a variety of
styles and configurations. Consult factory for your specific

and sold under patent no. 6,385,849B1.
The CEMA D rated idler roll-featuring end-pointed shaft
technology (where appropriate)-provides optimum
performance, even under the toughest of conditions. Available
permanently lubricated or in regreasable configurations, in belt
widths ranging from 18 to 72. H-Plus idlers are available in
a variety of styles and configurations. Consult factory for your

The CEMA E rated idler roll provides super-duty performance
under all conditions. Available permanently lubricated or in
regreasable configurations, in belt widths ranging from 36 to
120. SDX-Plus idlers are available in a variety of styles and
configurations. Consult factory for your specific needs and for
a complete brochure.
By supporting the conveyor belt and cushioning it against the
shock of heavy loads and impact, the Continental impact bed
extends belt life and thereby reduces downtime. UHMW
polyethylene bars allow the conveyor belt to slide easily with
virtually no additional drag. Its modular design allows multiple
units to be closely fitted to form the bed length needed (three
shown).
The Continental Slide Seal is designed to fit into your
loading area when there is minimal impact. It is a simple and
cost effective way to provide continuous support of your
conveyor belt against the skirting material, resulting in a positive
seal. By utilizing two standard troughing idler frames with center
rolls and UHMW/steel support bars with support mounting
brackets instead of wing rolls, this unit will provide a positive
seal in your loading area with reduced belt drag.
CONTINENTAL SUPER B SERIES
The Inner Shield acts as a flinger
to divert contaminants away from
the bearing cavity.
Two-Piece Shield forms a horizontal
labyrinth and provides a barrier to
contaminants entering the bearing
cavity.
A copper Ground Wire provides
a positive ground between the
idler rolls and frame.
The Back Seal is molded into the
head design and provides added
protection for the bearing cavity.
The Super B from Continental Conveyor is designed to provide the
ultimate in CEMA B idler performance. Years of development, lab
testing, and field testing have gone into this exceptional product. The
Super B roll utilizes a non-corrosive, Engineered Polymer head that
drastically reduces noise, roll weight, and material build-up. The
Super B roll also offers an exceptional seal design along with a double-
shielded, permanently lubricated ball bearing.
