This 14 week programme introduces the role of the naval
architect and the fundamentals of naval architecture as a

faceted work should not be underestimated.
This popular course, utilised by many of the sectors leading
organisations, delivers all you need to know about this fascinating
field. It provides a broad understanding of key knowledge areas
underpinning the practice of naval architecture:
Physical properties
Considerations and techniques
Design principles
Environmental and regulatory considerations
Endorsed by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA),
students who successfully complete the Certificate are eligible to
join the Royal Institution of Naval Architects as Associate members
(AssocRINA) and enjoy the membership benefits of this leading
international professional society, serving those directly or indirectly
involved with the design, construction and operation of marine
vessels and structures.
Delivered by distance learning, this programme offers you the
