In this research I will be looking at what audience Blank Canvas will attract based on age and gender.
Blank Canvas is a Sci-fi Horror/Thriller movie. Other movies in this market such as Alien (1979) which
was a commercial success making $78,900,000 in the US and 7,886,000 in the UK. World War Z
(2013) made $66,411,834 in its opening weekend in the US.

What I have learnt from this study: I have learnt that we were correct in our assumptions of which
age range would have an interest in our horror movie. We are looking at focusing our marketing to
Males age 18-21. This means we can now direct our attention to this audience specifically to get a
higher viewing audience form that category.
