Wacky Golf Event
The Country Meadows Baptist
Church Wacky Golf Event will be
held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at
the Family Golf Park. That is
located at 1501 N.E. US 40
Highway. Come on out for a
different twist on the game of golf, fun for everyone.
You can sign up in the lobby of the church. The cost
is $5.50 per person. The time will be 9:00 am to
Noon. Contact Carl Pearson at 816-665-6991 in the
evenings if you have questions.

AWANA Recognition
Ceremony

Work Day
Saturday, June 7 we will have a
work day trimming trees,
replacing ceiling tiles. We will
start to work at 8:30am.



Baptist Builder/ Disaster
Relief
Baptist Builders is in need of a
new trailer. We have some of the
funds needed but we need about
$2,000 more. If you like to help with this funding,
please put in the memo line of your check Baptist
Builder Trailer.


Tabithas Closet
As promoted at the Sister's
at Heart Tea, you can
support Tabitha's Closet's
ministry of serving needy families in
the Independence School District. The coat rack and
large tub for donations are at the South end of the
Foyer. Donate clean, gently used clothing or NEW
shoes, socks or underwear for school-age kids
through June.

Believers Baptism by Immersion: an act of obedience
when a person receives Jesus Christ as Savior. It
symbolizes the believers faith in a crucified, buried & risen
Savior.
By Letter: transfer of letter from another church of like faith
By Statement of Faith: when a person is coming from a
church that teaches salvation by grace alone and practices
believers baptism.
