HCOM 100 Final Study Guide

Provided is a study guide for the final on Monday, May 12 at 2:30pm. I cannot change the final day or
time. There is no way for me to have you take the test on a different day unless in a dire emergency.
Planning your summer vacation trip early and you have to catch a flight somewhere DOES NOT COUNT as
a dire emergency. This date has been set in stone since the beginning of the semester, so there are no
excuses why you would be unable to make it on final day. On the day of the exam, you are to bring a #2
pencil, Scantron 882-E (the skinny long green one), and your knowledgeable mind. No notes can be used
on the test. The test will begin at 2:30pm sharp. Once the first person finishes the test and leaves the room,
no one will be allowed to arrive late. For all of the chapters, be able to identify and apply the concepts.
Some questions will be definitional and some will be application, so know how to spot it.

Helpful hint: check out the study tools at the end of each chapter. Also, things in bold are really helpful to
know.
If you have any questions or need clarification on anything, feel free to email me or visit me in my office
hours. I would be more than happy to help out. I want to make sure you succeed. ! Have fun studying!
