Even though there is an upsurge in the voters turnout much more than the last elections, this 16 th LokSabha elections will definitely go down in the history books not for any laurels but for the expletives, invective, indecent languages pouring venom with each other contestants personally attacking across the board irrespective of party affiliations should be condemned tooth and nail by all the people. All the contestants should maintain all sorts of decency and decorum in public life since they become sitting M.Ps of a great Parliament. Denigration of personalities has widely replaced the developmental agenda which is the core of a democracy while campaigning of candidates irrespectively. Derogatory references like butcher, liar and fraud, panic stricken rats, exhortations like chopping individuals into pieces and throw others into the sea such volume of vituperative remarks has become widely competitive like who is better? The electorates have been taken for a ride with such slanderous remarks which degrade our democracy. The Election Commission has fairly devised the code of conduct which is totally agreed by all the political parties. Is it not their duty to follow the rules thoroughly? If not, the Election Commission should take deterrent action upon the individuals who failed to honour the commitments and violate by putting them into jails or stripping them from contesting. Such measures are necessary to save the democracy. People should also boycott such contestants. The whole world is watching our elections keenly. Is it not shame on our great democracy? Even our founding fathers wont like such happenings of hate speeches without any agenda which is a great peril to democracy. Every contestant should tell the people their own developmental agenda in their own constituency. There may be a fight among them on developmental issues. All major political parties should announce their Prime Minister candidate well in advance before the conduct of elections. The Election Commission should hold open public meetings, discussions among them at important places on development agendas and policy decisions of each party only and nothing more than that. They should not be casting aspersions on personal character assassination which is a slur on our democracy. Let the great Parliament be founded on great ethics and moral fibers as a true Parliament bereft of using uncivilized, unparliamentary and provocative languages. This will only strengthen our democracy to greater heights. 10 days classes NARAYANEEYAM classes for Ladies. Anything that poses a challenge or a threat to our well-being is a stress. Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life & managing them. Some guidelines for managing stress are as follows : Set aside relaxation time. Include rest and relaxation in your daily schedule. Dont allow other obligations to encroach. This is your time to take a break from all responsibilities and recharge your batteries. Connect with others. Spend time with positive people who enhance your life. A strong support system will buffer you from the negative effects of stress. Do something you enjoy every day. Make time for leisure activities that bring you joy, whether it be stargazing, playing the piano, or working on your bike. Keep your sense of humor. This includes the ability to laugh at yourself. The act of laughing helps your body fight stress in a number of ways. Exercise regularly. Physical activity plays a key role in reducing and preventing the effects of stress. Make time for at least 30 minutes of exercise, three times per week. Nothing beats aerobic exercise for releasing pent-up stress and tension. Eat a healthy diet. Well-nourished bodies are better prepared to cope with stress, so be mindful of what you eat. Start your day right with breakfast, and keep your energy up and your mind clear with balanced, nutritious meals throughout the day. Reduce caffeine and sugar. The temporary "highs" caffeine and sugar provide often end in with a crash in mood and energy. By reducing the amount of coffee, soft drinks, chocolate, and sugar snacks in your diet, youll feel more relaxed and youll sleep better. Avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. Self-medicating with alcohol or drugs may provide an easy escape from stress, but the relief is only temporary. Dont avoid or mask the issue at hand; deal with problems head on and with a clear mind. Get enough sleep. Adequate sleep fuels your mind, as well as your body. Feeling tired will increase your stress because it may cause you to think irrationally. Proper Stress management will put you on the road to good health. It is also important to note that, the mortality in heart failure patients is as high as 30-40%, within a year of diagnosis. In India, the treatment for heart failure is restricted to medical therapy, revascularization therapy (restoration/augmentation of blood supply to the heart), valvular surgeries and cardiac resynchronization (heart pacing) therapy.
