INTRODUCTION

There must an objective behind any research. Without
objective there is no meaning of research.Job satisfaction is a
result of various attitudes possessed by an employee in a narrow
sense these attitude are related to the job and are concerned with
such specification factors such as wages, supervision, steadiness
of employment, conditions of work advancement, opportunities,
recognition of abilities, air evaluation of work social relation in job,
prompt settlement of grievances, air treatment by the employers
and others similar items.
In short job satisfaction is a general attitude, which is a result of
many specific aptitudes in threes areas-namely specific job
factors, individuals characteristics and group relationship outside
the job.

Area of research

The area of research is To compare the job satisfaction
level of the employees of multinational corporation and
public sector undertakings The data was collected by
interviewing employees of Multinational corporations and public
sector undertakings with the help of structured questionnaire. All
the scientific measures were taken to make the study of reliable
and valid still, as the sample size was small it is possible that it
may not represents that precise picture.
However a more comprehensive approach requires that many
additional factors be included before a complete understanding of
job satisfaction can be attained. Such factors such as employees,
age, health, temperament, desires and level of aspiration should
be considered.

Scope of research

New research shows that job satisfaction is more important
than money or perks. Thats according to a survey conducted by
Eden recruitment. So it is not membership to health clubs or fat
salaries that employees want, but plain old fashioned job
satisfaction.
Job satisfaction was more common as motivating factor in IT
and business services. Sectors while the benefits package
available manufacturing sectors. Remuneration was also more
common in the business services sectors than is other sectors.
The results of survey which are given below, reveal the main
motivating factors in an employees decision to remain in or leave
employment

Objective


1-The primary objective of the research is To compare the job
satisfaction level of the employees of multinational corporations
and public sector undertakings.

2-The secondary objective of research is To prove that job
satisfaction level of the employees of multinational corporations is
more than that of the employees of public sector undertakings.

3-To suggest ways to increase the level of job satisfaction level
can also be increases.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

It is not possible to remove the limitation of any investigaters. So
this project also has certain limitation that are as

1) Information was gathered through the rating of the subject,
thus biasness is possible.

2) As the sample size was small it is possible that it may not
represents the precise picture.

Time Limit:
The time limit taken for conducting the research was very
less it could also be one of the limitations of the study.

Research Methodology
Market research defined as the systematic and objective
research for and analyses of information relevant to the
identification and solution of any problem field of marketing.

Marketing research is the systematic design, collection
analysis and reporting of data and finding relevant to specific
market situation facing the company.

Research Design:
A research design specifies the methods and procedures for
conducting a particular study. In this research I have use
following research methods.
Data Collection Method:

Primary Data:
I have collected data by interviewing employee for research
and randomly selected employee. I will use the structured
questioners.
Secondary Data:
I will collect data from the available sources like internet,
journals, newspaper, published data etc.

Research Instrument:
In this survey the research instrument used was
questionnaire method.
Contact Method:
The method adopted in my survey was personal interview.
Field Work:
The information will be collected from employee by
personally asking them questions and filling the
questionnaire In this survey the research instrument used
was questionnaire method.
Sampling plan:

Sampling units: Random sampling technique

Sampling size: 50

Field area : M/s. Arani Agro Oil Industries Ltd., KAKINADA
(A Subsidiary unit of Premium Veg.Oils, Malaysia)



Data Processing:
Daily data will be entered into MS-Excel sheets. After the
exhaustion of the specified geo-graphical area this data will
be analyzed using simple graphical and tabulation
techniques.

Hypothesis:
The hypothesis of the study that the employees of
multinational corporations have a higher job satisfaction level
as compare to the employees of Public sector undertakings
is proved. It is evident from the interpretation of the data that
there are 24.7% of employees of multinational corporations
who are highly satisfied with their jobs as compared to
13.6% employees of Public sector undertakings
