Every single mentioned game should allow the participants to present themselves briefly and to integrate in the group environment. 5/15/2014 5/15/2014 1.0 Presentation of TC's Schedule Participants will be introduced with the main aspects and goals of the project, activities they should perform and work methodology in order for them to understand the focal points of BOOM and to prepare themselves for the upcomming tasks. Printed version of the timetable will be provided for the entire TC group thus the project's activities can be realised right on time. Team building activities In addition to the icebreakers, team building games will be included as a stronger and more interactive stimulator of the group's spirit and bonding, whose usage shall break social barriers and secure the positive atmosphere in the TC's working area, as well as in the Free Time zone. Dinner Intercultural evening "One Europe.No Borders." Intercultural evening is ought to be the final and the liveliest point of the TC's first day as it will allow the participants to present the historical and contemporary values of their countires through national symbols, customs and traditional goods. Whichever method of presenting goods and values participants find the most appropriate, the outcome of the evening will result in improving the intercultural knowledge and breakage of stereotypes and international barriers. Therefore, the evening will be designed and managed by the participants themselves, but coordinated by the trainers. Apart from the TC group, coordinator will invite his or her partners and supporting local organizations and institutions as guests of the evening in order to furtherly promote the project and make it more visible to the local community. Day 2 AM Breakfast Opening plenary The host will welcome all the participants by giving them a brief audio-visual presentation of its organization and an introduction into the world of "Youth in Action" vision. Participants will get an opportunity to hear professional lecturers, holding knowledge and experience in the work of resolving issues of the affected social categories, which should enable them to understand the existing problems concerning the social-economical issues of the young with fewer opportunities. First two panel disucssions will revolve around two project's topics: national minorites and children of fallen and disabled veterns. Lecturers will not only share their personal experience and the general view towards the topic, but include the participants, as well, through opening a vivid disucssion and allowing questions and remarks. PM Lunch Panel discussions Above mentioned idea and plan of the panel disucssion will be applied to this set, as well. However, the difference lies in the topics as these two will be aimed toward discussing the issues and status of children with no parents and children with special needs. Once again, the audience will get the chance to hear and react to the exposed knowledge, which will be of crucical value for the rest of TC's work, based on the same principle of hearing and reacting, of gathering knowledge and using the power of it to make a change. Dinner Free time Participants will get a chance to explore the colorful content of Banjaluka's social life and to feel on their own skin the town's atmosphere and the spirit of the locals. By tasting the traditional meals in the comfort of national restaurants, watching acclaimed performances on the national theatre's scene and dancing to the rhytm of local folklor, participants will sense the true nature of Banjaluka.They will be guided and followed by the organizer team that will make an effort in directing free time activities in agreement with the guests and presenting the hospitality of the city in all its beauty. Day 3 AM Breakfast Opening plenary "Starting Off With the Blog and Social Network Profiles" As blog and social network profiles are the means for insuring project's visibility , this plenary shall be used as an interactive group session aimed toward designing the image of these highly influential networking materials. Therefore, each and every TC member will be enriched with a deeper understanding, a solid knowledge and different visions and solutions of the global problems, that will make them capable to be an active part of the change not only within the project itself, but in their own communities, as well. At this session, two countries' delegates will present and discuss the topics in a manner they find the most suitable for portraying the image of the issue of concern in their environment. PM Team building activities Through a new set of games of exercises, participants will once again be reminded of the value of group coopearation and unity in resolving certain problems. By getting to know each other better in fullfilling these activities, their TC tasks and experiences will be highly improved. Lunch Session "The Situation Back Home - Problems & Solutions Comparison" At this session, another two countries' delegates will present their national situation and plans for resolving the issues of concern along with their personal vision and view of the problems. Day 4 AM Breakfast AM-PM Session "The Situation Back Home - Problems & Solutions Comparison" At this session, two countries' delegates will present their national situation and plans for resolving the issues of concern along with their personal vision and view of the problems. 5/18/2014 5/18/2014 1.0 PM Dividing participants into groups, preperations for the following TC's activities Participants will be divided into three groups in accordance to the project's topics, as a way of ensuring quality coverage of the issues and efficient team work. Group A will focus on issues of national minorities, group B on children of fallen and disabled veterans and group C on children with special needs and children with no parents. Every group will be instructed by the trainers and provided for with all the neccessary information and materials by the organizers. Considering that the field research is set as the focal point of the particapants' activites, groups will be appointed to certain institutions, organizations and national bodies where they will discover and gather needed knowledge. Day 5 AM Breakfast AM-PM Field research From this point on, participants, divided into three groups, will start with their field research. Visiting and getting to know the work of institutions and organizations who deal with the issues and solutions of the affected categories, and through the direct contacts and interviews with young people with fewer opportunities, participants will get a wider image of the project's themes as well as expand knowledges gained during the panel discussions. On the first day of active work, particpiants will visit national minorities association (group A) agencies for rights of fallen (group B) and disabled veterans and orphanage (gruop C). 5/19/2014 5/19/2014 1.0 PM Lunch Open workshop "Writing CV" Participants will not only gain knowledge and improve their leadership qualitites, but also get a chance of being a lecturer to young people with fewer opportunities and transfer knowlegde and skills crucial for improving their socioeconomic position and employment perspectives. First in the set of workshops, directly managed by the participants, will be the most basic one - writing a modern high- quality CV for various employment possibilities. Open workshop "Business Etiquette" Next in line of interactive workshops is one providing youth affected categories with basic knowledge of necessary business etiquette skills that should help them create a more professional image for themselves and handle correctly delicate business situations in order to be more successful in the business market. Group workshop "The Stories of the Day" As a summary, at the end of each day of field researches and open workshops, the last workshop will be devoted to participants and their personal impressions. This workshop will start with reflection discussions, giving participants the space and time to share their thoughts on what they have seen, heard, experienced and learned during the day, while their comments will also serve as guidelines for the trainers in coordinating the following activities. After the oral part of the workshop, participants will turn their own impressions and conclusions into multimedia materials, publishing posts on TC blog and social network profiles, adding also the materials and stories collected from the young people with fewer opportunities during the forementioned daily activities. Day 6 AM Breakfast AM-PM Field research On the second day, in the same pace, participants will continue researching and gathering material concerning the position and possible solution of the affected categories by visiting religious objects (group A), fallen and disabled veterans NGOs (group B) and center for children with special needs (group C). 5/20/2014 5/20/2014 1.0 PM Lunch Open workshop "Public Speaking and Body Language Skills" This workshop is intended to develop skills of articulating thoughts and delivering the message through adequate speaking oratory and body language. Workshop attendants will discover useful little secrets of high-level eloquence, a very important element for making the first steps in the business world. Open workshop "Road to Activism" Youth leaders and activists, the participants of this TC, will discuss all opportunities and benefits of being a young engaged individual. They will present a wide range of possibilities of activism and volunteerism on European level as well as existing youth mobility programmes adding their own stories and experiences thus motivating young people with fewer opportunities to become an active part of changing their position in social reality. Group workshop "The Stories of the Day" A new day of field researches and open workshops will end in another set of reflection discussions and publishing of multimedia materials, nurturing the idea of constant internal sharing and public awareness raising. Dinner Free time Participants will get a chance to explore the colorful content of Banjaluka's social life and to feel on their own skin the town's atmosphere and the spirit of the locals. Through a simulation of project designing and planning, business negotiation and event menagement they willl discover their personal business potential and creative side of business world. This workshop will complete theoretical and practical ensamble of this non-formal education programme which will serve as a base for empowering and encouraging young people to lead the change of their faith. Group workshop "The Stories of the Day" After ending the process of educating both themselves and the young people with fewer opportunities, the participants will have the opportunity to once again share their thoughts on the knowledge and experience aquired during the daily activities. They will also publish new materials on TC blog and share them via TC social network profiles, thus tranfering their own messages and messages of the affected groups to the public. Dinner Free time Participants will get a chance to explore the colorful content of Banja Luka's social life and to feel on their own skin the town's atmosphere and the spirit of the locals. Day 8 AM Breakfast AM-PM Preparations for the final public event Participants, along with their group trainers, will prepare the materials and speeches for the final TC's public event and to discuss the ways of presenting their entire TC experience and the infromation gathered throughout it. 5/22/2014 5/22/2014 1.0 Sightseeing - discovering Banja Luka Participants will explore the historical and culturalal values and treasures and the national heritage of the town seen in the life of museums and monuments. Guided by the organizer's hospitality team, guests will be secured and comfortable in discovering Banja Luka's traditional artistic wealth. Lunch Preparations for the final public event Participants, along with their group trainers, will get to prepare the materials and speeches for the final TC's public event and to discuss the ways of presenting their entire TC experience and the infromation gathered throughout it. The event is designed as a combination of an exhibition and an interactive presentation. Participants will be presenting the audio-visual material collected in their research, but the event will also feature speeches from the participants themselves, the attendants of the open workshops and representatives of the institutions and organizations who are dealing with the project's issues. This high-profile end of project's activities will be essential for raising public awareness for the issues TC focused on, as well as for the begining of the dissemination of project's results. Dinner Day 9 AM Breakfast Group workshop "The Stories of the Final Day" The last workshop of this kind will be, just like all the previous, divided in two phases. The first one will be a set of reflection discussions revolving around the project's final event, where the participants will a chance of stating thei views on the event's preparation, realization and effects. After closing of this phase, the participants will publish the last pieces of multimedia materials, articulating their final messages. 5/23/2014 5/23/2014 1.0 Debriefing and future plans During this session, participants will get an opportunity to express their opinions about the whole TC learning process, all the experience and knowledge they gained. There will be another set of discussions on creating a base for further cooperation among the partners, expansion of the project's lifecycle, multiplying effects and dissemination. This is one of the most vital parts of the TC, because it will provide a better base for future projects under the new framework of the Youth in Action Programme and outside of it. Youthpass Certificates will be handed out to the participants. Team Building activities The final set of team building games and activities is planned for the last day, as a deserved entertaining element after the days of busy schedule. The goal is also to deepen the bonding before participants' departure, thus ensuring the continuation of their cooperation and communication after the formal end of this Training Course. PM Final evaluation The final evaluation will be realized in a separate session using the round table form and a different dynamic. Participants will get a chance to speak freely, give their comments or remarks on the practical and fundamental part of the TC, such as accommodation, group/field work, equipment, themes, expectations, results, planned activities, intercultural dimension, both human and technical competences and follow up. Sightseeing - discovering Banja Luka Participants will explore the historical and cultural values and treasures and the national heritage of the town seen in the life of museums and monuments. Guided by the organizer's hospitality team, guests will be secured and comfortable in discovering Banja Luka's traditional artistic wealth.
