Proclaim Conference: 2014 Tony Herbert & Anna Schlooz will represent St Josephs Parish at this Conference in Sydney (21 - 23 August). The funding comes from the Catholic Diocese of Ballarat Foundation. The Conference draws inspiration from Pope Francis recent document and explores the challenges & opportunities of parish life.
Sexual Abuse within the Catholic Church Many have feelings of despair and confusion, feelings that impact our faith. How are we to channel these feelings into positive actions and feelings that empower rather than defeat? Professor Caroline Taylor is giving a workshop at 11.00am Wednesday 28th May in St Josephs Parish Hall around these issues. All welcome
Mystagogia: A time for entering deeper into the mysteries of our Catholic faith. Our RCIA Team continues to meet with Jane, Cate & Darren who became full members of the Catholic Church at Easter.
St Josephs Pipe Organ: The 3 scholarship students: Lyn Hyland, Jeanette Hajncl and Sonia Gellert continue their studies. Recently a Junior Organ Scholarship was established and auditions held at St Josephs School. Seven students were successful. See notice board for more information regarding the Junior Scholarship.
Bridge Builders: This workshop is designed to increase effectiveness as a community builder, faith sharer, religious educator and youth minister. Assist a Student: This program is supported by St Vincent de Paul Society. In choosing to donate money to the Assist a Student program, you will be providing education funds to overseas students in need of support throughout their education.
