This is a litle modified procedure tested.

1) Install Scia Engineer setup.exe from the folder "Scia_13.1.61\DISK1" with cu

stom options and select "only standalone".
You can select "only floating" and write 27009@127.0.0.1 as given in task 7 but
it may not start installation (not tested).
2) Install Flexnet setup.exe from the folder "Flexnet (must install after scia)
\SciaFlexNet\DISK1".
It will create the service but if not create it manually.
3) Rename scia.lic in the folder "the folder inside put in C\Sc2013" to "SCIA_S
oftware.lic". Copy (scia.cmd) from folder and paste on desktop.
Use the script to kill the processes before copying files.
4) Copy/overwrite SCIA.exe, SCIA_Software.lic and ibfs32.dll from "the folder i
nside put in C\Sc2013"
to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Scia\LicenceServer\FlexnetServer\scia"
for x64 system
or "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Scia\LicenceServer\FlexnetServer\scia" for x8
6 system.
5) Start "FlexNET Licence administrator" inside Scia Licence Server from start
menu or from inside the folder. If can't open port 8080 restart and try again.
It will open local flexnet server. Click Administration. use admin both for use
rname and password.
Click "server configuration" then "license server configuration. For "License S
erver Manager Port:" select "use this port" and write 27009
and click save.
6) Close all and restart computer (must restart).
7) Start Scia Engineer 2013.1 and it should pop up key not found window.
Click settings and select "Only floating" and write 27009@127.0.0.1. Click expa
nd and then apply/refresh. It should list available modules.
Click select all and OK. That's it. If not restart one more time.
1. Install the program and set "only floating" and license server "27000@127.0.0
.1"
2. Install flexnet
3. On the bar browser press "http://localhost:8080"
4. an alternative: put on path "c:\program (x86)\Common Files\scia\LicenceServe
r\FlexnetServer\" and double click on "FLEXnet License Administrator" link
5. Click on "Administration" tab and at login input "admin" for tab user name a
nd "admin" for tab password (if first time you must confirm the password);
6. Go to "Server Configuration" tab and press "stop server"
7. go to path "c:\program (x86)\Common Files\scia\LicenceServer\FlexnetServer\s
cia\" and delete all files
8. Put the files on folder "Sc2013" inside "c:\program (x86)\Common Files\scia\
LicenceServer\FlexnetServer\scia\"
9. rename the file "scia.lic" in "SCIA_Software.lic"
10. now modify the secon row on file "SCIA_Software.lic" in "DAEMON SCIA PORT=2
7000"
11. Only for PC with operating system Windows 7: make (if dont exist) the direc
tory "c:\program (x86)\Common Files\scia\LicenceServer\FlexnetServer\licenses\SC
IA\" and copy inside the file "SCIA_Software.lic" just modified
12. run "http://localhost:8080" and restart the service (if necessary, I do not
remember)
13. run the program
14. At the error message click on "settings" button
15. On "sets of modules" set "current setting" then "select all" button and "Ap
ply and refresh"
16. Save the modules configuration
17. press ok and....enjoy
