Dear Sir David Attenborough,

My name is Milton Buckle, I am 8 years old. Me and my family would just like to take this opportunity
to thank you for all knowledge and inspiration you have given to us and to this planet.
We were so delighted that our third attempt to come and listen to you in Richmond gave us som
tickets. We will treasure this day.
I was born in Sweden but have lived in North Yorkshire, Holme On Spalding Moor for 3 years of
my life as my Dad is british. I speak both languages fluently. Recently our family moved back to
Sweden. So we have come from Sweden yesterday to be able to attend at your speech today!
Since I was 3 years old I have loved prehistory and studied dinosaurs and dinosaurbooks before I
could read. When my Mum read the books to me I learnt all the names of them in no time and in
what era they were born. My interest for prehistory and dinosaurs has followed me all the way
along up until now when I can read the books myself.
I like to discuss different theories I have about some dinosaurs or some of the eras they lived in. I
therefore wonder if there is any chance we could become Penfriends? It would be so nice.

In the area where I live and come from in south Sweden we had a lot of activity in the dinosaurtime.
I live in the county of Blekinge in a village called Norje and not far from the village Bromlla. From
early Cretaceous they have made finds of a unique dinosaur to this specific area called Scanisaur.
It belonged to the pleisosaurs and was also called Swanlizard. It swam around in the inland waters
that existed here in that time and ate fish.
They have also found Mosasaurus, Iguanadon and Hypsilophodon in this area. We have a very
very small dinosaur museum in our local trainstation that shows some of the finds. And there are
some good digging sites around!

Here is a picture of a statue in Bromlla of two Scaniosaurs.

Not far from where I live is a village called Svngsta. This is were ABU GARCIA was founded and
developed. Some of the worlds finest fishing equipment was born here and are still top quality in
the world. The demand for good equipment came from the river that flows just outside the factory
and that still holds several world records in Salmon fishing. The river is called the Mrrum River
and flows down to the Baltic Sea. Every year flyfishers from around the world come to catch
Salmon in the river.
Nearby we also have Eriksberg Wildlife & Nature. Its beautiful game reserve and holds many of the
wild species from this part of the world. We go there every year to study the animlas and it holds
one of the biggest groups of Wisents in europe and are working on a breeding programe for these
european bisons. They are a member of European Bison Conservation Center (EBCC).

That was a little bit from my area. You are always welcome and I will show you more!
Sometimes I wish there would be a David Attenborough School I could go to. I would like it to be
an inexpensive school but a school where you had to pay with your interest instead. A school that
includes a lot of prehistory, biology and science right from the Primary start. That I would like a lot.
Have a good day Sir David Attenborough. Tomorrow Im going to Natural History Museum for the
second time in my life. Last time we listen to the paleontologists holding a speech and I got to ask
some questions and saw newly found fossils.

Kindest Regards from
Milton Buckle
