Rats performance set and costume design (2014)

Reflection:
I thoroughly enjoy visual and performing arts. I worked with parents and community
partners in order to organize costumes and create props for the performance. Parents
and staff also worked together on a weekend to paint and build pieces for the set. I
was very impressed with the community and staff dedication to the performance.
Reflection:
The focus of PLCs I have attended included inquiry skills, multiplicative
thinking, and Talk Moves. Although I did not teach math this year, I
incorporated inquiry skills and talk moves into my daily teaching of the
science curriculum.
Reflection:
Being an educational assistant has provided me with various strategies to
assist students with varying needs. I am aware of the positive impacts of
using vestibular stimulation to meet sensory needs, visuals within the
classroom, and creativity in providing engaging lessons for all.

Chow, P., Blais, L., & Hemingway, J. (1998). An outsider looking in: total inclusion and the concept of
equifinality, Education.
(For this, received 1998 Russell R. Cassel Special Merit Award for project innovation).

Reflection:
For this, I did a great deal of research regarding inclusion and special
education models. My professor, classmate, and myself, worked as a
team to rewrite the original piece that was written by our professor. I
feel that this demonstrates my abilities to work as part of a team and
provide educated insight into a topic.
