Kigaku, the 'science of spirit', is Japanese astrology, which follows a twelve-year cycle relative to that of

Chinese astrology. This cycle is corresponded by the Chinese animal signs whose characteristics are
attributed to people born under these signs. The only difference that i've noted between Japanese and Chinese
astrology is that Kigaku has stars made up of a colour and an element! involved in the cycle that can
influence the characteristics of a person born under a certain star.
