Ulrich Bodenhofer 2 days ago First of all, thanks a lot for this great work! A little question: I am using MacBuntu on a desktop that spans two screens. When I lock the desktop, the primary screen shows the password prompt as it should, but the secondary screen still shows an Ubuntu logo in the center. I tried to move /usr/share/unity-greeter/cof.png and /usr/share/unity- greeter/ubuntu_badge.png, but this had no effect. What do I have to do to get rid of the Ubuntu logo? I tried and it broke it so badly, that it does not work with Unity even now after trying to change themes after a flashback login. None of the Tweak tools are able to change the themes anymore. (tried Unity Tweak, Ubuntu Tweak and also Gnome Tweak Utility). All of them fail in switching the themes any more. Also, if you change the Theme from Right Click Desktop Background properties, I think then also, it breaks. anyone out there, Please confirm if you also face the same issue. Developers, please confirm if this can be used with Classic/Flashback sessions. BTW : Partly works with XFCE too, Good Job so far other than the glitches mentioned above.
Reply Umair 2 days ago Admin Anand @Anand As it is already mentioned above that it is especially created for Unity. You can try Gnome Fallback mode (Not flashback), on your own risk. I haven't tried on other desktops but on Unity and Gnome Shell.
Anand 2 days ago Umair Thanks, However, it will be really great if it worked with classic/flashback, I and probably there are plenty more here who are driven nuts with the slow and sluggish non productive workflow of Unity. and who cannot live without a panel with windows list. I have 30 windows open at any given point in my regular workflow. So I cannot think of moving from classic/flashback. This Theme looks so fresh(great job on this) on the Unity Share Share 15/5/2014 MacBuntu 14.04 Pack is Released, Transform Ubuntu 14.04 to look like Mac - Ubuntu/Linux News, Reviews, Tutorials, Apps http://www.noobslab.com/2014/04/macbuntu-1404-pack-is-released.html 18/21 Reply so fresh(great job on this) on the Unity and is really lucrative enough for a change for users like me. Wish if something can be done to make it work with the flashback session. I shall try the fallback within a VM and see how it goes. if there are any links which show how to modify the theme for Flashback, please share. Please note that on this theme does have bugs as below. If I use Unity and without this theme activated even once, I can switch across Ambiance/Radiance and regular ones in both regular Unity and Flashback easily using Unity Tweak Tool. However, once this theme is activated within flashback session, it breaks something so badly that even regular theme change is not possible any more even in Unity session. I can demonstrate it through screen share if required, since I was testing this within a VM.
