Design Council grants India Design Mark after
evaluating good design through a systemized

BIFMA stands for Business and Institutional
Furniture Manufacturers Association. BIFMA
is a not-for-profit organisation that develops
voluntary product and industry standards that
support safe, healthy and sustainable
environments; publishes key industry statistics;
and facilitates meaningful dialogue and
education to support the industry.
Wipro Furniture is a member of BIFMA. We
incorporate latest trends and guidelines in
our furniture design and performance,
which are based on the publication reports
of BIFMA.
Wipro Furniture products are designed and
tested to comply with the stringent parameters
of BIFMA which ensure that the products are
ergonomic in design and thereby offer good
comfort and safety to end users.
ANSI/BIFMA M7.1 is one of the BIFMA
International Standards that prescribe testing
methods for the determination of VOC
emissions from office furniture and seating, and
establish acceptance criteria for these
emissions under environment and product
usage conditions that are typical of those found
in office buildings.
