Hi Kris,
Really the best scripts come from your own thoughts because they express the issue
and your fears, etc. from the background of your experience with it, which
personalizes it and fine tunes the set-up statements and reminder phrases for you. To
home in on the best statements and phrases, I pay attention to my daydreams about
whatever it is I'm working on, and I listen to my internal chatter. If I let my mind run
on awhile, I can get some insights as to what the particular aspects of the issue are for
me. I ask myself questions, too. You might try, "What does a person in a white coat
do?", or "What does it mean when I have to go see a person in a white coat?", "What
might that person tell me about myself?"
There are several physical causes for hypertension-that is, it could be one of several
things in your body that isn't functioning properly. You could focus on your body and
ask it a general question like, "Why do you feel you need to pump blood so hard?"
and see what floats into your mind. Ask yourself that great question, "If there was an
emotion behind this hypertension, what would it be?" As soon as you get some
answers to your questions, start tapping on them. One of the ways I kick start some
insight is to free-form the reminder phrases. I have a few all ready to start out with,
but then I let my intuition take over and say whatever comes into my head, even if it
seems unrelated. I'm amazed at how some of the things I come up with are actually
aspects of what I'm dealing with. I would never have thought to put them together if I
hadn't allowed my intuition to lead me there.

'm old enough now to stop asking "how could I have gotten off-track again?" The answer is irrelevant.
Maybe I got "too busy" to pay attention to myself. Maybe feeling deadened for awhile has been a
necessary part of the journey.
Cycles. No judgement. No "ah, this is where I went wrong, and I must pay attention so I don't do this
again". Because the truth is, I may well do it again! And that statement implies wrong-doing on my part,
and a need to FIX myself.

I don't need fixing. And neither do you, And if anybody tells you you do, or implies that you do, then "get
the hell out of...well, you know, Dodge!"

What we need, in my humble opinion, is self-forgiveness, self-acceptance and self-responsibility, in that
order. Notice I did not say "self-blame"!

I invite you to think about something you regret doing. How would your feelings, your behaviour, your life
change if you forgave yourself for doing it? And how would that impact your ability to accept yourself?
And if you could truly accept yourself, how would that affect your ability to accept others? How might your
behaviour change?

And what of "self-responsibility"? It differs vastly from self-blame by the way. I do not blame myself for
letting my blood pressure get WAY out-of-whack (something that happened a couple of weeks ago).
Because self-blame doesn't help. The behaviour and thinking and feeling that led up to it is in the past.
Dwelling on self-blame gives it power. It makes things worse. Self-responsibility however, is something to
accept in the present. Being self-responsible means we are doing something about the situation.

In my case, being responsible means doing EFT regularly to release the pressure that created the high
blood PRESSURE (interesting observation I was made aware of very recently). It means sticking to a
dietary plan that keeps my circulatory system happy. And it works.

If you're new to EFT and would like to try it, here's a little script for you. (If you need to see the tapping
points and learn a little more about HOW to Tap, lookHere.)

Tapping on the Karate Chop point repeat these words: "Even though I blame myself for this, I love and
accept myself anyway". Do that three times.
Then tap on the Eyebrow point and say: "It's my fault and I blame myself"
Tap on the side of the eye and repeat: "It must be my fault"
Tap under the eye: "And now I'm being punished"
Under the nose: "I should have known better"
Under the mouth: "I'm blaming myself"
Collarbone: "I deserve this"
Under the arm: "I had this coming"
Top of the head: "It's all my fault and I deserve to suffer the consequences"

Now take a deep breath, release it and continue tapping.
Eyebrow: "This suffering doesn't really make anything better"
Side of the eye: "It might even be making things worse"
Under the eye: "But I have to suffer"
Under the nose: "I deserve to suffer"
Under the mouth: "That's the only way I'll remember to do things differently"
Collarbone: "At least I THINK it's the only way"
Under the arm: "But what if there's another way?"
Top of the head: "What if I could forgive myself, accept myself and take real responsibility for myself?"

Then take a deep breath or two. Notice how you're feeling about self-blame and if you still feel the need to
blame and punish yourself, continue tapping. trust your intuition and use words that are meaningful to
you. The script is simply a guideline.

) Matrix Reimprinting *is* EFT

When EFT Master Karl Dawson introduced Matrix Reimprinting (MR), he said
that it is not meant to replace EFT Tapping -- That it is an enhancement (although
an extremely powerful one) to the EFT Movie Technique, a process that EFT
founder, Gary Craig used often in his demonstrations.

Karl notes, that the basic EFT tapping sequence is still being applied here, but
that the protocol is quite different because we now have a different client, the
ECHO.

2) The Client is the ECHO

When we use Matrix EFT Tapping, we tap directly on or for* the ECHO (*by proxy or surrogate tapping).
ECHO is a term coined by Karl Dawson and it stands for:

Energetic Consciousness Hologram. This is an energetic representation of younger a version or part
of our self that is frozen in time. Similar to an Inner Child however, we can form or create these ECHOs at
any age, not just childhood.

"An ECHO is part of us or more specifically,
part of our energy system that is stuck in an endless loop playing an emotionally
upsetting scene or scenario, over and over again.
"

An ECHO is part of us or more specifically, part of our energy system that is stuck in an endless loop
playing an emotionally upsetting scene or scenario, over and over again.

Most of the time, we are unaware of this 'part' and the negative energies associated with it. That is until,
we become triggered by something similar. Example; someone who had a traumatic childhood
experience involving a large dog can be calm and relaxed until they see or maybe even think about a big
dog.

3) The ECHO Has A Very Important Job

This ECHO or energetic being is a part of us that holds on to any unprocessed negative emotions from a
past traumatic experience (specifically the experience of a freeze response, where we could not fight or
run/flight). This 'holding of', or 'protection from' unprocessed stressful emotions, allows us to function on a
daily basis.

ECHO's therefore have a very important job... because without them, we would be a total mess - a virtual
puddle of overwhelming, uncomfortable and negative emotions!

Somewhere between 30 and 55 years of age (and sometimes earlier), our personal energy system can
become weakened. This is due the build up of 'emotional static' in the form of daily worries, stresses and
strains (a good reason to practice Relief Tapping on a regular basis), PLUS... any emotional issues and
trauma (even minor traumatic events) that we have not dealt with and resolved.

"Somewhere between 30 and 55 years of age
(and sometimes earlier), our personal energy system can become
weakened." At some point, we begin losing the ability
to hold the ECHO's away from our body and therefore separate us from this negative and emotionally
heavy energy. Eventually, these energies begin to leak back into our system and because of this, we
can experience emotional and physical symptoms and ills such as; anxiety, depression, fatigue, auto-
immune disorders, high blood pressure, burnout, chronic pain, sleep problems, digestive issues etc.

For women, this leaking of negative energy can happen earlier in life and can be magnified due to
hormonal imbalances that can accompany perimenopause and menopause. This is a really good reason
to get tapping sooner rather than later on any built up emotional static and debris!
4) Weve all Experienced Trauma in Our Life

A simple definition of trauma, by trauma expert, Dr Robert Scaer is; feeling helpless or powerless, being
overwhelmed and feeling that our or another's (i.e. parent, grandparent, sibling) physical, mental or
emotional safety and security is being threatened in some way.

When trauma is described in these terms, it is easy to understand that weve all experienced trauma in
some form or another -- and that past events we wouldn't consider as an adult to be traumatic, actually
did affect us in a negative way as a child or a teen.

Things like; Divorce, financial struggles, serious illness or death of a parent, grandparent or sibling,
adoption, birth trauma, an accident, problems at school, abandonment, abuse (even mild forms), sibling
issues (birth order, rivalry, teasing, competition). Having an alcoholic, emotionally troubled, depressed,
emotionally or physically distant/absent parent. Or even a parent/primary caretaker who is overly critical,
controlling, demanding etc.

'In Matrix tapping sessions, I've heard many clients say; "Wow... I thought I'd dealt
with that issue a long time ago." Or, "I had no idea that was bothering me. Now I
understand why I have been so stuck!"'

5) Tune into the ECHOs Needs and Wants

This is very important because most of us have denied or shut down the fearful, hurt and unhappy parts
of our self. These aspects or ECHOs crave acknowledgement, understanding, respect and empathy. If
we try to tap them away or shut them down, its likely that uncomfortable physical and emotional
symptoms will get worse. This is particularly true with anxiety and depression.

If an ECHO is not giving us the information or co-operation we are looking for, then we need to build more
bridges through acknowledgement, understanding, respect and empathy.

6) An Ability to Visualize is Not Necessary

Some think that only visual people are suited for this type of energy tapping because it is based on
imagery, however, this is not the case. Our memories from traumatic past events can be associated and
stored in many ways; visuals (what we saw), thoughts (a story line), feelings and emotions, physical
sensations, sounds (what we said or what someone said) and even smells.

All of us are capable of coming up with powerful imagery sequences based on any combination of these
sensory inputs.

The ECHO will lead us to all of the important negative associations/sensory memories that we have
connected with a past event or situation. Then we can apply the tapping and other reimprinting
processes/protocols to transform and shift them.

7) Matrix Reimprinting Works with the Law of Attraction

Traditional or foundational EFT as taught by Gary Craig is a powerful tool and it has helped many, many
people - However, in addition to bringing the ECHO into the picture, MR tapping has another big benefit...
it works amazingly well with the Law of Attraction! Here is a piece written by EFT Expert Gill Edwards to
explain.

"EFT can remove the emotional charge from painful memories, yet it often leaves a void in its place. The
memory is still there, but no longer bothers us. By contrast, Matrix Reimprinting heals and resolves the
past memory, and leaves a new memory in its place -- so that conjuring up the old memory now brings up
a joyful energetic imprint. We get whatever we send out into the Field, according to the Law of Attraction,
so holding these positive new images not only feels good, but also means we are creating a whole new
future." ~ Gill Edwards

igh Blood Pressure

In my experience, there are three main reasons why someone has high
blood pressure:

1. Louise Hay identifies the probable cause of high blood
pressure to be long-standing emotional problems that are not solved.
2. Over-eating or eating the wrong foods for your body. This
includes "Healthy Eating". Some say there is no such thing as a
healthy food, only a food which is healthy for your particular body.
3. Under-exercising (please consult your physician about all
physical matters).
