In the middle of the month of June we will cele-
brate the official beginning of summer. June 21,
2014 will officially begin the time we call sum-
mer. Ironically enough summer for many has
been taking place for a while longer. School has
let out, summer jobs are in place many people
have been on vacations or camp trips already
and yet summer has yet to officially begin.

We live with Summer Time anticipation most
of the year. Planning and plotting what our ac-
tivities will be like when summer arrives. I do
that myself, looking forward to hearing about
the students at camp. Listening to the children
as VBS impacts their little lives. And of course
hearing about the vast places visited through the
traveling of everyone as they make their way
across this great country of ours, Im looking
forward to some family time and travel with
Cheryl and the boys too.

Summer is kind of like Heaven, we know its
coming, we make plans and arrangements for
the journey. We look forward to Heaven like
summer because of the family reunions that
each one will host. There will be a day when we
will enter into the Never Ending Summer with
the Lord. What a glorious day that will be.
Make your plans now to attend and take every-
one you can with you!

School is already or
just about out for this
year. Summer plans
are being made. I
hope those plans
include being in Gods House on Sun-
days to worship Him. If you are travel-
ing, I encourage you to find a place to
worship with Gods family wherever you
are. If you are on the road and dont
have time to attend church, take a few
minutes to praise and worship Him be-
fore you start your journey. I promise
you will be glad you did.

Choir members, we are preparing mu-
sic for the 4
th
of July celebration. We do
not have very many practices before
June 26 when we will present our mu-
sic. So please make every effort to at-
tend on Wednesday night. We will not
have practice during VBS week. We will
continue to learn new songs that we will
be presenting as well as new praise
hymns to teach the congregation.

Please make choir practice a planned
activity in your summer schedule If you
have not been singing with us, please
consider doing so. We have a great
time and it will be a blessing. I look for-
ward to seeing you in church.
