Sub: Sales updates for our newly launched CFL Rechargable tube T-101.

Introduction:
As requested please find the Sales update for our new launch T-101, for last one
month since launch. The response is bang on target to our market study &
expectations.

Findings:

Region wise sales:


Please find the sales in no of units against the targeted (mentioned in bracket).
North 13098 (13000)
West 16231 (15000)
South 12822 (12500)
East 12799 (12500)

Sales Analysis:
The product has been successful in grabbing the attention of the people which is
evident from above figures. Based on the feedbacks from customers & dealers, the
future of the T-101 is bright. We need to take further steps to strengthen our
market penetration & thus the share. Following are few suggestions:
 Increase the dealership network by 30% in each region.
 Advertise the T-101 more rigorously. A detail report on this shall be
submitted in a week’s time.
 Start the patent process on priority.

Future target setting:


Responding to the achievement of first month targets & on the basis of aggressive
marketing plans, I propose to increase the target for next quarter by 100%. We shall
achieve this 100% rise gradually by 20, 50 & 100% units in each month for next
quarter.
The production team has assured & is geared up to achieve the production. A study
for this is attached for your kind perusal.

Competitor study:
As such we do not have any competition, as on date, for T-101. Products similar to
this have received a hit, which is evident from their sales figures (a copy enclosed).
A market review provided us that M/s XXX have started work on development of a
product similar to T-101. We therefore need to chase the patent work on war
footing.

Distributor recoveries:
We have collected 70% recovery from all the distributors & the residue shall be
recovered in 10 days time. The methodology & time line are enclosed for your
reference.
