Information
updates
Regular information updates to the FSC Safety Manager manuals are
made available in order to keep its contents up to date.
There are several ways to obtain these updates:
All information updates will be posted on the TotalPlant Solutions
(TPS) Online website (http://support.totalplant.honeywell.com/).
If you have access to the Honeywell Intranet, you can also
download the latest version from the HSMS Intranet website at
http://web.iac.europe.honeywell.com/sms/.
You can send an e-mail message to sms-info@honeywell.com. The
latest information update will then be sent to you.
Each newer version of the Information Updates will always contain all
previous updates, which means that each new version supersedes all
earlier ones.

Section 2.2 (page 15) The following text should be added at the end of the section:
FSC application changes
Changes to the FSC application can cause invalid point database
configurations, and may therefore have an impact on FSC-SMM
operation. For this reason, the FSC-SMM validates its point database
whenever it detects an FSC application change. Since the Central Part
that is being modified will always be shut down, this only occurs
when the FSC-SMM is idle.
In general, every point with parameters referring to DCS addresses
that are no longer available in the FSC application will be inactivated.
In addition, the value of these parameters will be set to zero to make
sure that the operator is no longer able to activate the point. The
configuration of these points should be modified, or the points should
be deleted to reflect the new FSC application.
Special caution is required when changing the digital and binary input
location 'COM' areas assigned to the FSC-SMM. The FSC variables in
these areas can be linked to flag arrays and numeric arrays that are
part of the SMM box point definition. When the flag array and/or
numeric array can no longer be properly mapped to the I and BI
location 'COM' areas (See 'Assigning Alias Addresses'), the SMM will
delete its entire point database. This is the same defined action that
occurs when changing the box point from the TDC side (UCN node
configuration).
Please note that changing the FSC application can also affect the
usability of previously stored checkpoints. When the box point within
the checkpoint contains flag and/or numeric array definitions that can
no longer be mapped to the I and BI location 'COM' areas, the
checkpoint cannot be restored. When the box point can be restored but
the checkpoint contains other points with links to DCS addresses that
are no longer available in the FSC application, these points will be
inactivated. In general, the point configuration should be updated and
check-pointed before the FSC application change occurs.

Section 2.17 Page 174 (description of parameter PVRAWHI)
Page 175 (description of parameter PVRAWLO)
The typical scaling values for the PVRAWHI and PVRAWLO
parameters for AI points depend on the analog input signal type:
0-20 mA: 0-3276
4-20 mA: 655-3276
Voltage monitor channel of 10105/2/1 module: 0-3934
