TheeasiestwaytoapproachthefacilityisbyusingInterstate395
andtakingExit4inBrewer.

BusParking: Busesareaskedtodropoffteamsandparkattheindustrialpark
locatedacrossthestreetfromtheBrewerPublicSafety(police&
fire)buildingonParkwaySouth.Thereisnotenoughroomfor
busestooncampusattheBrewerK8CommunitySchool.

Thespectatorshuttlebuscanalsobringbusdriverstoandfrom
trackcomplexthroughouttheevent.

Busdriversandcoachesshouldexchangephonenumberssoat
theconclusionofthemeet,thebusescanreturntopickupteam
membersandcoaches.

SpectatorParking:SpectatorparkingatthePendletonTrackFacilityislimited.The
trackfacilityislocatedataK8schoolandtheparkinglotwas
createdtoservetheneedsoftheschoolandnottohostlarge
events.

Parents/spectatorsareencouragedtocarpoolwhenpossible.
Therewillbealimitednumberofhandicappedparkingspaces
markedoffneartheentryofthetrackfacility.

TheBrewerSchoolDepartmentandtheMPAwillprovideashuttle
busrunningapproximatelyevery10minutestoandfromBrewerHigh
SchooltotheBrewerK8CommunitySchool/TrackFacilityforthose
thatwishtoparkatBrewerHighSchool.

TeamTents: Brewerhasdesignatedteamareasalongthefarfencelineofthe
trackfacility.Therearerestroomsandaccesstowaterforthe
teamsinthebuildingdirectlyinfrontoftheteamarea.

Ifacompetitorisscratchedfrom,orfailstoreporttoanyevent
beforetheeventstarts,thenthatcompetitorisscratchedfromthat
eventandtherestofthemeet.Therewillbeascratchmeetingafter
thecoachesandcaptainsmeeting.

UniformRule TheNationalHighSchoolFederationuniformruleisineffect.Be
awareandunderstandtheundergarmentruleforallevents,not
justrelays.Nojewelryisallowed.Alluniformsmustbewornas
themanufacturerintended(norolledwaistbandsonshorts,jerseys
mustbetuckedin).Uniformsmustremainonwhiletheathleteisin
thecompetitionareas.

TapeMarkings Tapemarkingsareallowedatjumpingeventsandonthetrack
forrelays.Athletesneedtoremovethetapeattheconclusion
ofthefieldeventandaftertheirsectionsoftherelay.

Finals Trackeventstherewillbesemisinthe100meterdash,100meter
hurdles,and110meterhurdles.Thetop8competitorsbytime,
notplacewilladvancetothefinals.Inallothertrackeventswewill
havethefastestheatlasttherewillbe8runnersinthefinalheat.

Fieldevents8competitorswillreachthefinalsinthethrowing
eventsandthehorizontaljumpingevents.Thehighjumpand
thepolevaultwillbe5alive.

Spectators Spectatorsarenotallowedontheinfield.

Coaches Coacheswillbeallowedonthefieldindesignatedareas
only.

Awards Medalswillbeawardedtothefirstsevenplacefinishersineach
event.Therewillbeanawardsareaintheinfield.Please
instructyourathletestobepromptandinproperuniformwhen

Protestsand TherewillbeaJuryofAppealsandGamesCommittee.A
Appeals protestformmaybepickedupatthescoringtable.All
protestsmustbeinwritingfromacoach,accompaniedby
a$35fee.Theprotestandthefeemustbegiventothemeet
referee.

TimeSchedule Themeetwillbeonatimeschedule.Wewillnotgoaheadof
thetimeschedule.Itistheresponsibilityofthecoachesand
athletestoreporttotheireventontime.Pleaselistenforthecall.
Thecalltocheckintoaneventwillbe10minutespriortothe
scheduledstartoftheevent.

Electronics Nophones,iPods,orotherelectronicequipmentisallowedin
thecompetitionarea.Coachesmayfilmtheirathletes,coaches
mayviewthevideoandgiveinstructiontotheirathlete.Athletes
arenotallowedtoviewanyvideooftheirperformance
duringthecompetition.

Other Nofootball,frisbees,etc.willallowedinthecompetitionarea.

Emergency
ContingencyPlan Intheeventofalightningstormorotherdangerinthearea,
spectators,athletes,coaches,andofficialswillbedirectedto
entertheBrewerCommunitySchoolgymnasium,cafeteria,and
lobbyareauntilthedangerousweather(orothersituation)passes
thearea.Anannouncementwillbemadeoverthepublicaddress
systeminformingallinattendanceoftheemergencyplan,in
necessary.Theeventwillresumeoncetheareaisdeemedsafe.
