II LANGUAGE CONTENT
1.0 The Sound System
The sound system forms part of the Language content in the syllabus.
To enable learners to become familiar with the different patterns of
sound and the different spelling of words that have the same sound,
teachers are encouraged to give a wide range of examples. The list
