PREP AGE CONCERN INTERGENERATION PROJECT

Pre-prep children attended a Christmas workshop
SCHOOL with the residents at Binfold Croft in Kirkby
Lonsdale. The children and residents talked about
Christmas in the past and present.

They worked together to create

some traditional Christmas
decorations using cinnamon sticks,
dried orange, nutmeg and cloves.
We all enjoyed the lovely smells.

Year 4 Habitats Investigation

Year 4 spent a muddy afternoon
hunting for habitats in and around
school.

‘We found lots of different habitats. In

the wood, under the ground and in
the stream. We even found a badgers
sett in the wood.’

BOARDING you
Sally!

‘We played a big game of hide and seek. I loved the house
plays, they were really great’
Sally Bennett

The weekend turned out to be a very enjoyable and playful weekend for the
Beale boarders. The weather wasn’t too great but that didn’t stop us.
We filled our time with lots of baking and cake decorating, followed by
dancing, watching the house plays and
a huge game of hide and seek

Gabby being very careful weighing out the sugar

‘At the weekend we baked cakes for

the Dobson House Party.
We also decorated them with icing
and sweets. Later on we watched the
house plays
