Rosa parks
What makes people influential?
How about someone who stood up for themselves and their race, who is a civil
rights activist. How about Rosa Louise Parks. Parks a civil rights activist was part of the bus
boycott. Rosa parks had a very strong foot in the black rights programs including the
NAACP [National Association for the Advancement of Colored People] Rosa parks was one
of the most inspirational person in the world.
Rosa Louise parks was born on February 4
th
1913 Rosa was a child when they
moved to Pinelevel Alabama Rosa worst childhood fear was of the KKK aka the ku Klux
Klan witch is a group of people that would go and bomb black schools and burn crosses. We
know about parks fear when she stated this we didn't have any civil rights. It was just a
matter of survival, of existing from one day to the next. I remember going to sleep as a girl
hearing the Klan ride at night and hearing a lynching and being afraid the house would
burn down. When she was 19 years old Rosa parks attended Alabama state collage
Not only has Rosa been thought many things in her life she has made such a huge
impact in our society. What would you do if there was racial serration what if you couldnt
go to the same school that were at now if we were still in the 1900s.what if every day there
was no one that knows how to stand up for yourself. I believe that Rosa parks helped us all
see that our life doesnt have to be the way it is if you dont like something you can change
it. She stood up for herself and wasnt afraid of what could have happened or the
consequences of her actions. In the time Rosa lived she had to face many challenges that
probably scared her and he still had a strong foot in their civil rights and the rights of
others.
Rosa parks
Thats not just a name
Thats a park ,a school a street and many others there is such a large amount of dedicated
gardens parks streets and parks roads ect. Named after Rosa parks we know how
important she is to society if we have more than one place where we can remember her
and her legacy. When Rosa parks died in 2005 only 9 years ago. The bus she rode was put
in the Henry ford museum.
We know that Rosa is inspiration with in many people with how she stood up for herself.
But what if she never was born how would this world be? What would the segregation be
like?
