WARM-UP

and sit the cards on their desks. Students
display the title of their favourite nature
element to the others and some of them

LEAD IN
- Teacher ask Ss to crumple the tent
card made of paper. After that, T ask Ss
to bring it back to the original form, fact
that it is almost impossible. T also brings a
rope and also demonstrates the above idea
- T presents the topic of the lesson. The
same thing happens to anything we destroy
or damage. Even if we can recover part of
that thing , it will never be the same..

- Ss watch a short video clip that
introduces the topic, with strong impact of
the pictures and music

PRESENTATION
- students are shown video clips with
environmental issues.
-T draws a word-web diagram on the
blackboard
- teacher asks students to list as many
planet issues as possible. Ss work in pairs
(deskmate) For each correct answer, a
student gains 10 pounds (virtually, of
course). At the end of the presentation,
several students say what they would have
done with that sum of money if it had been
real.

-students are given the first part of
conditional clauses. They have to finish

6. LISTENING - Ss watch short video clips with tips : How
to be environmental friendly and think
green
- skimming and scanning the
text. Students have to get the
main idea the essence of the
text but also to get some
details.

7. FREE PRACTICE
PROJECT WORK
-T divides class in 3 groups . each group
has to design a poster, including ways we
can reduce, reuse, recycle waste, be
environment friendly.
-each poster should be creative, colourful,
and to present 10 tips to be eco at school, at
home, as a tourist.
- the groups names are: ECO - STUDENT,
ECO - HOME, ECO TOURIST
- learn how to be cooperative
-interiorize how they can
conserve our natural resources
and protect environment

8. HAVE FUN! -Ss are presented a motivational story
-at the end, they elicit priorities for keeping
