Writing majors; introduces students to terms, principles, and practices of classical
and contemporary rhetorical theory. Students apply rhetorical theory to analyses of
historical and contemporary oral, print, visual, and multimodal examples of
rhetoric and produce their own rhetoric in multiple genres.
