Details of Industrial Training:

1. I have undergone an industrial training programme at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited

(BHEL), Hyderabad from 01-12-06 to 16-12-06 during which I gained practical experience
about the various processes taking place apart from getting a detailed insight of the
Manufacture of Turbo-generators by VPI process.
2. I have also taken-up an industrial project at TATA Power Plant, Mumbai from 14-05-07 to
01-07-07 during which I was exposed to the various testing procedures of Switch gears,
transformers and generators and also learnt about the SCADA system.

Academic Achievements:

1. Received Merit Scholarship for education in first year and third year of B.Tech.
2. Received 1st prize for a paper presentation in Electret’07 at CBIT, Hyd and Technozion’07 at
NITW on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells.
3. Presented a paper on ‘Combating Power Efficiency in WSN’ at Technozion’08
 4. Represented my IEEE Student Branch at the IEEE International Student Congress, Chennai
and clinched the award for ‘Best Student Branch in Region 10’
5. Won the MATLAB simulation contest held by IEEE student branch. .
6. Stood 4th position and 9th position in 11th and 12th Std. respectively at state level.
7. Secured 2nd prize in UN Exhibition conducted by the UN Council for Andhra Pradesh.
