Q What makes GLOW Academy different?
A While there are many wonderful Makeup Artistry courses available at other schools, our Students
choose GLOW Academy simply because the full experience does not end in the classroom. Lets just say,
our Students Graduate with Experience.
Q Are GLOW Academy courses recognized?
A GLOW Academy Certificates are well recognized by Cosmetic Companies, Industry Shows and any
avenue of the Industry you wish you pursue.
Q What governing credentials do GLOW Academy courses have?
A GLOW Academy Certificate courses are pre-screened by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges
and Universities as single skilled non-vocational Certificate courses.
Q Is GLOW Academy recognized by MAC?
A GLOW Academy is thrilled to be a MAC Preferred Makeup School. Our students are invited for tours
and job fairs by MAC. 20% Discounts are offered to Students and 40% to GLOW Academy Graduates!
Q Are your prices competitive?
A While significantly less than many schools, and slightly greater than others, we have based our
pricing on classroom hours, portfolio shoots, kits (where provided), and the overall industry experience
opportunity. Our prices are fair and affordable and certainly does not out way the value received.
Q Are payment plan options available?
A Finances should not keep you from pursuing your passion. Ask your Admissions Advisor about
flexible payment plan options available to all students no matter what combination of courses.
Q What will I receive upon completing the courses?
A Once the requirements of the each course is completed, you will be provided with a Certificate
alongside Confidence, Experience and where applicable, Portfolio images of your Work!
Q What happens after I graduate?
A Your relationship with GLOW Academy does not end at the end of the course. Graduates are
encouraged to stay connected to the GLOW community for news and updates on additional industry
opportunities.

A We couldnt be more thrilled with the success rate of our graduates. While there are always a
percentage that become distracted by circumstances no matter where they studied, we are proud of the
graduates that follow through with persistence effort, taking the skills, experiences and mentorship
from GLOW Academy into successful Freelance Artist careers, Beauty Jobs (for such companies as
Shoppers Drug Mart, Smash Box, Loreal and More) as well as Businesses, including Salons and Spas.
Q What kind of Career Coaching is available?
A Various workshops on resume building, freelancing, marketing and starting a beauty business is
available to GLOW students and graduates at no cost. Personal mentorship is available and encouraged
for grads to take advantage of. Your success is our success. Even if you need the support years after
graduating, we are here to help you reach your career and business goals.
Q Are the courses available part time?
A Our courses have been designed with you in mind. Theres no need to compromise work hours or
interfere with your regular commitments, part time evening classes are available. Day time and
weekend classes may also be available. Let us know your availability and we will plug you into the right
group.
Q What are the class sizes?
A Class sizes are typically at 10-14 students allowing for an advantageous student to teacher ratio.
