ICMQ India is a fully independent body and

Impartiality
Impartiality is a fundamental requirement for
certification and inspection bodies that
provide services in compliance with
international standards. ICMQ India has
established a committee to ensure impartiality
in accordance with these standards. Interested
parties are allowed to monitor whether all
activities and decisions taken in the
certification process depict impartiality. This
committee was formed by representatives
from various fields related to construction, and
is independent enough to give suggestions to
ICMQ India on matters related to impartiality.
Feedback from such committees helps in
improving services and ensuring impartiality at
all times.
Responsibility
ICMQ India has the responsibility to assess
objective evidence upon which it bases its
decisions. ICMQ India makes relevant decisions
based on factual conclusions related to
certification or inspection services. Customers
have the authority to implement any
corrective or preventive action. ICMQ India
does not do any consultancy work.
Confidentiality
ICMQ India delivers services according to a
Confidentiality Policy. It ensures that any
proprietary information about a customer, his
activities and his projects is kept strictly

accreditation for all its services. Accreditation
is granted by a recognised and independent
body certifying that the criteria set by
international standards have been adhered to.
An international agreement binds
accreditation bodies and spurs them to

recognised standards. Accreditation aims to

Accreditation is achieved at the end of a
rigorous process conducted according to

accredited certification or inspection body like

Management sytems
Since its incorporation ICMQ India has been
using a strategy aimed at achieving
accreditation in all the various certification
schemes. ICMQ India has been accredited for
Quality Management System Certification
according to ISO 17021 Standards by the
National Accreditation Board for Certification
Bodies (NABCB) working within the Quality
Council of India (QCI).
Inspection
ICMQ India has been approved by the Quality
Council of India (QCI) for providing third party
inspection services in infrastructure projects.
ICMQ India is on the verge of achieving
accreditation for being an Inspection body in
compliance with ISO 17020 standards:
General criteria for the operation of various
types of bodies performing inspection.
Products
For those customers interested in exporting
their products to Europe, ICMQ is notified
according to the European Directive 89/106
(Building Products Directive) for CE marking in
building materials. ICMQ India, through the
parent company, may provide customers with
services to achieve this mandatory product
certification.
Training
ICMQ Indias Construction Training Academy
has a strategy aimed at accrediting its training
courses. ICMQ received accreditation for the
Lead Auditor course for Quality Management
System auditors.
Recognition
In India ICMQ India has been empanelled for
third party inspection by government bodies.
In Italy ICMQ is recognized for Design
Validation by the Ministry of Infrastructure in
the sphere of public works.
