Dark ages

The dark ages were the period in Europe from the fall of Rome in the fifth century a.d. to the
restoration of relative political stability around the year 1000; the early part of the Middle
Ages.The entire Middle Ages, especially when viewed as a troubled period marked by the loss
of classical learning. No longer in use by historians. The dark ages is a popular to the
experience of Western Europe between the fall of Roman Empire and the Renaissance. Many
people suggested that it was 476 A.D.when the last Roman Emperor was throne. Historians
expanded the term to refer to the transitional period between Roman times and the high Middle
Ages. Some people think that Dark ages were Dark but some people think that dark ages were
not dark. I think that dark ages were not dark because there are so many reasons for that for
example, some countries got universities, Europe got a new social and political (feudal system),
people invented the new things, etc.
In document # 2, "Feudal Obligations"; author thinks that dark ages were not dark because
When there were dark ages, Europe created a new system that called feudal system. Feudalism
was the economical, social and political system. It dominated Western Europe, from 900 to
1300 A.D, during the Middle Ages. It began with collapse of the Roman Empire. Under the
feudal system, the king gave big piece of land, called fiefs to the leading men in the country.
Fiefs made you a nobleman which gave you different kind of powers, and some responsibilities.
Nobles became a king's vassal, promising to serve and protect him. If the king need more
protection, he will give that land to more people that will become his vassals. And then that
vassal give that land to more persons that will become their vessels. It shows that king give the
protection to vassal and vassal give the protection to king. So, it is kind of good system they
both protect each other. It demonstrate that dark ages were not that much bad the people think.
In document # 3, "The Medieval period"; according to the expert, dark ages were not dark
because In the old time, most people described that an aegis "dark" but the truth is that it's a
remarkable vitality and exuberance (the state of being extremely good). It's not true that dark
ages were that much dark the people describe. Even at it performed the function of guarding,
frequently by accident and chance. The knowledge and treasures (to retain carefully or keep in
store , as in mind) of what had come before but even more it wacreative and inventitive (the
function of qinventing things). It shows that people have just like thing in their mind that dark
ages were really dark but that's not true. It was good tho like people invented the things during
dark ages and became rich it sold that things. Their inventions were really helpful for people.
In document # 5, "universities founded in the twelfth through fifteen centuries"; the author want
to emphasize that dark ages were not dark. One most important thing that happen in dark ages
is that countries got unversities.Between the 12th-13th century Italy, France, great Britian, Spin
and Portugal got 20 universities.The University of Bologna (founded in 1088) was the first ever
to grant degrees. Bonolonga university founded in the Italy. In 14th century, these countries got
like 18 universities. In 15th century, these countries got 31 universities. The Classical Education
(still used today in some schools) was the system used by the Universities which were created
in the Early Middle Ages (the first in history). The universities taught the arts, law, medicine, and
theology (the study of religion). This shows that in dark ages, prople got education from
universities that is very good.
Actually, dark ages were dark but it's not that much dark the people think. The people just have
the name "dark ages" in their mind and they just describe it as dark ages but actually, it was a
time that called Middle Ages. Middle Ages name is popular as dark ages. The thing I just
describe us that countries got different types of universities, people invented things and America
got a new system. These things totally shoes that dark ages were not dark.
