This practicum report examines reaction time and short-term memory. Students in groups IP-10 and IP-11 performed tests on visual reaction time and short-term memory using chunks. The report analyzes the results of these tests, including normality tests and difference hypothesis testing to compare reaction times between males and females. It finds a statistically significant difference in visual reaction times between the groups.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FACULTY OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITAS ISLAM INDONESIA 2014 CHAPTER III REACTION TIME
3.1. Practicum Objectives 1. Students able to understand the reaction time toward visual display. 2. Understand the shot-term and long-term memory. 3. Students able to analyze someones short-term memory. 4. Students able to do difference hypothesis testing between reaction time of visual stimulation on male and female.
3.2. Practicum Assignment Examine the operators reaction time toward visual stimulation using visual display tools and short-term memory test using chunk.
3.3. Output 3.3.1. Description For our practicum, we used ourselves as the operator. Syarifah Nabila as the operator who answer the question part A and as the tester in visual practicum, she is a 20 years old, female, and scholar in Islamic University of Indonesia. Then we use Wildan Adiwena, as the operator who answers the question part C. He is 21 years old, male and also scholar in Islamic University of Indonesia. 3.3.2. Visual Measurement In this measurement we recapitulated data from our group IP -10 and our friend IP 11. We used SPSS to analysis the data with normality test and then from the result we do Difference Hypothesis Testing No IP 10 IP 11 1 0.5 0.37 2 0.6 0.41 3 1.95 0.5 4 0.78 0.59 5 0.55 0.58 6 2.57 0.4 7 0.63 0.35 8 2.24 0.35 9 0.59 0.4 10 0.58 0.45 11 0.47 0.45 12 0.45 0.36 13 0.65 0.48 14 0.58 0.46 15 0.56 0.41 16 0.62 0.29 17 0.66 0.48 18 0.39 0.34 19 1.72 0.29 20 0.45 0.33 21 0.57 0.56 22 0.53 0.4 23 0.62 0.4 24 0.56 0.38 25 0.45 0.36 26 0.53 0.38 27 0.42 2.14 28 0.57 0.45 29 0.46 0.38 30 0.39 0.5
