David Blaine Kirby Obituaries Howard Eugene Westover Howard Eugene Westover, 68, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Pocatello, ID. He was born Jan. 16, 1946, in American Falls, to Ferrell Eugene and Ethel Taggart Westover of Aberdeen. He was the fifth of eight children born in the Westover family. He attended school in Ab- erdeen until the age of 17, when he join the United States Navy. He was in the service of his country for 4 years, sta- tioned in Cal- ifornia. After his re- lease from the Navy he lived in California until returning to Idaho. During his life he worked for E&R Trans- port, Bannock Memorial Hospital as pur- chasing agent, Case Tractor, Vollmer Well Drilling and at Pocatello Sod. Howard was a member of the American Legion, serving as commander for a number of years. He enjoyed car racing and taught himself to play guitar. Howard was preceded in death by his par- ents and a brother, Keith LeVoy Westover. He is survived by his siblings: Sheila (Garth) Hanson of Provo, UT, Dora (Lynn) Row- bury of Aberdeen, Madge (Richard) Lind- say of Blackfoot, Barry (Dawn) Westover of Marysville, WA, Carla (Stephen, deceased) Yancey of H i g h l a n d , UT and Vicki ( R a n d y ) Gamble of Ab e r d e e n ; c h i l d r e n , Debbie (Pat) Rowe, Wen- dy (Danny) Boyle and Jef- fery (Shelley) We s t o v e r ; g r a n d c h i l - dren Whitney (James Pat- rick) Turner, Sydney Rowe, Andi and Al- lie Boyle, and Aryia and Chloe Westover; and great grandchildren Charleigh Dey and James Patrick Alan Turner. Funeral services were held Monday, June 9 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitations were one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery with Military Honors. Funeral arrangements are under the direc- tion of Davis-Rose Mortuary. David was born to Blaine and Millie Kirby on Janu- ary 25, 1961. He passed peacefully in his sleep on May 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Peter and Reva Kirby and Don and Letha Mills. He is survived by Lorrie Thomas, his children Levi Thomas and Jasmine Kirby, his parents and two sisters Doni Chris and Deb Hanna, nephews Josh Colungo, Jordan and Justin Chris, Clay and Randy Hanna. David enjoyed fishing and hunting, and worked as a silversmith creating beautiful jewelry. Graveside service were Monday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
