WOMAN: A QUICK REFLECTION FOR THEIR ENTIRE FIGHTS AND CONQUESTS

Since ancient times, the man has always pursuit happiness, freedom and the most
important thing to create a society, power. Trough thousands and thousands of years,
humanity has always been part of this vicious circle that I surely can call the vicious
happiness or maybe fake happiness. We are born, we grow up, we establish goals and
then we look resources to do it, and it has been like that always, since everything began. It
is thought that since the beginning the man was the one holding control on the paradise
created by God, being the lord in this earth was the objective, but there was something
else, something that god created to be part of this amazing journey that remains today
and is called woman.

Since always, woman has played an important part in society, it is seen as the most pure
object in the creation, the perfect queen that reigns in a society that changes every day.
But, it is important to say that all this has not been easy, women have fight and make
space in a society that have them as queens but treat them as objects with not humanity
in their souls. Maybe it is possible that I might expend thousands and thousands of hours,
days, years and even decades to explain how women are one of the principal engines in
this world that moves so fast by every hour that is left behind. Since Eva, passing through
Cleopatra, Hypatia, Joan of Arc, Mother Teresa of Calcutta and even those 146 women
who died on 8 may 1908 because of fighting for their believes and everything they
thought was an injustice against all women in the world.

Of course history has passed, many things have changed but it is impossible for us to
forgive the injustice, intolerance and many sacrifices this women made to be free, to
create a new concept of world in where everything had to be equal, in one where women
have the right to be women.

It is impossible for me to talk about every single lady that has changed the world in a small
or big way, but I will speak today about that unknown woman that was forgotten, the
woman that create the concept of the woman that we have now working in our schools, in
our business and also the ones that choose to represent our countries and that woman is
Hypatia from Alexandria.

There is no enough information about this woman but with the little we know about her,
it is sure that this woman was an outstanding woman living in a world reign by men with
hunger and thirst for power. Hypatia is the clearest example of sacrifice in her fight for
freedom, in a fight for her ideas to be taken into account, in her fight to have the right to
be a woman. As Hypatia, there was also a woman called Kate Chopin. This woman was
and is, one of the most important short stories writers in the world, but something
strange was that as Hypatia of Alexandria, her thoughts and important new things were
not appreciated by the people because of his immoral ideas about how a woman should
be in society, something that for these two women was going to be their direct tickets to
be avoid, to be prohibited, to be despise and even, to be killed.

Hypatia was killed because of his new ideas about world, because of being a perfect guide
for people that wanted to learn, something that in those times was seeing as an insult
because there was an idea of the women totally different. The women was confined to
obey, to do what men wanted to. But Hypatia was this strong, smart and also I might say
wise woman that was able to left in ridiculous whoever she wanted to, because of her
thinking and also because of the vast knowledge she had. It is obvious that for a man in
those times was something disrespectful and also not in a normal mind to be guided, to
be ordered by a woman. That is why she was killed and that is why this woman was almost
forgotten in the memories of those who met this amazing woman.

Thanks to women like Hypatia of Alexandria and Kathe Chopin (well a little bit late for
them) the world has understand that women has to be conceived and appreciated
because they are guides, they are wise and according to a many research and many
believes it is though that women are more intelligent because they have the cerebral
capacity to retain, process and to create new concepts in a faster way the men do it. Why?
Because of the hypothalamus size, but yet, until now in 2014, there is no a clear answer to
why does the woman has better cerebral capacity, and there is a great deal of hypothesis
that joins in the idea that it is because the activities the woman normally does, for
example :
1) Been a guide.
2) Take care of children and educated them.

That is why, I think that women are really important for the society and they need to have
same conditions because as God established, they are the ones that are going to be next
to the men no matter what.

These women have teach us how to be tolerant, not just because of them, also with our
world, with our society and with our environment because as it is shown in Story of an
hour by Kate Chopin and Hypatia from Alexandria, the only thing that men cares is about
power and control over the whole things. These stories taught me tolerance, respect and
that is something that everyone has to apply in their lives, so in that way, we are going to
create a new world, a new world where everything is balanced, a new world where life is
respected and also a world where we are all the same no matter religion, color, race and
way to live the life.

From these stories also I can say that thanks God and thanks to these women, we are
living now in a better world, it was something really upset to see and to imagine the idea
that Kate Chopin portrayed in her book about this woman who died because she thought
she was free when she knew that his husband died. It is something extreme and real that
show us that women are soul and spirit and we cannot use them and treat them as object.
The world is constantly changing, as times goes by, I am sure that more and more women
will appear with new ideas, and not just women, also children, men and any person,
because if we can think, we must trigger to change the world and to create a new society.
