SCHUCK PIG LAUNCHER TYPE SMO
For reliable pig launching in a
pipeline system.
Pigging is performed in many pipelines at regular intervals.
Pigging can be used for cleaning or inspecting pipelines.
The pig is launched in the pipeline via pig launchers, which in
turn are an important component of pig launching stations.
Schuck pig launchers are complete systems with proven and
reliable quick-action bayonet closures.
Schuck pig launchers meet all national and international
standards and specifications. They are matched individually
to customer specifications.
The Schuck pig launchers can be optionally equipped with
pig sensors, and if desired with cut-off valves for the
functional line (drain/vent/kicker line, etc.). The pig sensor
shows whether the pig has arrived in the sluice.
Applications for the Schuck pig launchers range from
different media such as oil and gas up to a wide range of
nominal diameters and pressure ratings.
