1 Swept Blend Ken Youssefi MAE ME20 2 All sections must contain the same number of entities A swept blend can have two trajectories: an Origin Trajectory (required) and a Secondary Trajectory (optional). Each Swept Blend feature must have at least two sections and sections may be added between these two sections. Swept Blend Ken Youssefi MAE ME20 3 Round profile Cannot be created in Creo using Swept Blend command Round profile Square profile The circle must be broken into four arcs, same number of entities as a square Sketch the Trajectory Ken Youssefi MAE ME20 4 Sketch 5 segments 1 2 3 4 5 Exit the sketch Sketch 5 segments Swept Blend Ken Youssefi MAE ME20 5 Select Swept Blend and choose the section plane control from Preference. Default is Normal To Trajectory. The sketch is automatically selected. Section Plane Control Ken Youssefi MAE ME20 6 option keeps each of the features cross sections normal to the trajectory of the feature. Each section is created normal to a vertex of the trajectory or normal to a datum point on the trajectory. It requires the definition of a trajectory and the definition of one or more sections option keeps the features cross sections normal to a selected planar pivot plane, edge, curve, or axis. Each section of the feature is created normal to the selected pivot plane. It requires the definition of a trajectory a normal plane and the definition of one or more sections. Constant Normal Direction option keeps the features cross sections normal to a second trajectory. Each section of the feature is created perpendicular to the normal trajectory. The option requires the definition of a sweep trajectory, a normal trajectory, and two or more sections. The option sweeps a section along one or more trajectories.
