Executive Summary
NBWatch Ltd. is a startup company located in Lagos, Nigeria. We are into Mobile
application development with our premier app, NBWatch.
NBWatch is a rapid response Emergency Communication System for use in
sharing Security alerts and updates within a Neighborhood.
Market
With the challenge of working from 7am- 5pm, every neighborhood seem to be
very silent and idle during this period thereby making such neighborhood more
vulnerable to security threat.
Very busy neighbors are mostly ignorant of what happens within the
neighborhood while they are at work
Not all resident of a neighborhood can afford to employ a security personal to
man their apartment when they are a way
Not all neighborhood have Vigilante or Neighborhood watch group, and where
they exist they lack effective security and emergency communication systems.
Product
The App is an emergency communication system that is developed for the
primary purpose of supporting one-way and two-way communication of
emergency messages between both individuals and groups of individuals in the
neighborhood.
The App is designed to include every member of the community or neighborhood
as a key player in ensuring that the community or neighborhood is safe.
The App updates members of the community with security information, Alerts
and Tips by means of SMS.
The App intensifies the principle of be your brothers keeper in the neighborhood.

Competitive Edge
Similar Apps exist in the Android Market such as Neighborhood Crime Watch Pro,
Crime Watch but they all require internet connectivity.
Internet connectivity is still at its budding stage in Nigeria, over 80% Nigerians do
not have access to the internet connectivity
NB Watch is built on the SMS feature of a smart phone and therefore does not
require internet connectivity to work. This is a competitive edge over its
competitors.
However, NBWatch plans to employ the use of advertisement to get people
aware of its existence and use. It also plans to collaborate with environmental
agencies and government ministries in this regard.

Company Summary
NBWatch Ltd. is a startup organization founded in Lagos, Nigeria. The company is
owned by a team of young entrepreneurs: Oso Abigail Titilayo, Olafisoye
Ebunoluwa Ayoyimika, Damola-Okesiji Adebola, Akinola Omotola Taiwo,
Omosowo Abiola.
2.1 Start-up Summary
In order to start-up NBWatch Ltd., the following assets and services will need to
be provided.
- Legal services for company formation.
- Computer programmers (2) to complete the development of the NBWatch
application and future programs.
- Seven computer workstations. Five will be used for business planning, market
strategies and app design, while the remaining three will be used for app
programming.
- Promotional materials.
- Money to pay for servers or cloud data storage
- Money to set up an account on the Android market
Product Description
With the increasing population of Nigeria, security has become a major challenge.
Making it more challenging is the very low ratio of police to citizens and poor
security system in the country.
This has made the neighborhood watch inevitable among the citizens.
Neighbors are now their brothers keeper. Despite this, prompt emergency and
security communication system has been a challenge for effective neighborhood
security watch, most vigilant group cant afford the cost of a sophisticated
communication gadget, while most of them even require a license from the
government.
The NBWATCH app helps to mitigate this challenge by providing a prompt,
fast and effective emergency or security communication system for residence of a
neighborhood.
The app utilizes the SMS features of smart phones which is owned by over
90% of lagosians.
NBWATCH is in two components.
The first is the User component which will be used by the user to send security
or emergency alert or notification to a particular number, (particularly the
number controlled by whoever is the head of the neighborhood watch) once
received, alert is broadcasted to a list of numbers of all residents of the
neighborhood automatically.
The second component is the Hub Component which runs on the smart
phone of whoever is the head of neighborhood watch, the app automatically
registers the phone number of residents through an SMS registration process. It
also sends a copy of whatever alert or tip is received to all users and security
officials (police) within the community.
With NB WATCH, everyone in the neighborhood is their brothers keeper, and
are promptly furnished with security info within the neighborhood.

With the rising challenges of insecurity in Nigeria, every concerned Nigerian
Neighborhood is our target.
Strategy and Implementation Plan
NBWatch plans to launch an awareness campaign on the need for effective
security information sharing within the neighborhood and how it helps make the
neighborhood less vulnerable.
During such campaigns, the use of NBWatch would be introduced and
emphasized

5.1 Marketing Strategy
NBWatch Ltd.s marketing strategy is based upon the belief that poor overall
awareness leads to few sales for the apps currently available. The need for
security information sharing within the neighborhood cannot be over emphasized
Therefore NBWatch Ltd. plans to use an aggressive marketing strategy in order to
raise awareness for the LagToilet product.
Our strategy will include awareness campaign on social networking sites such as
Facebook and Twitter.
5.2 Revenue Strategy
NBWatch Ltd. plans to enforce an aggressive sales campaign focused on appealing
to communities on the need for prompt security information sharing with
members and security agents.
The NB Watch User Component will hit the market at a price of $5 per user
download and the HUB component at a piece of $15 per download.
With the App receiving wide attention and downloads, NBWatch can increase
revenue through adverts.
