in which such decisions are made.
Hence, the content of Module 1 provides
important background for Modules 2-6,
which focus on business decisions in
sectoral and internal contexts.

1. To identify the central aspects and
causes of change in the global
political economy;
2. To provide an understanding of
the debate over the signicance
of globalization;
3. To identify the key drivers of
technological change and risk in
the global economy;
4. To examine current problems in
international economic co-operation,
and the nature of the main multilateral
and regional institutions relevant

the implications of these conicting
pressures for business decisions
and strategies.

GLOBAL
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
THE TRIUM PROGRAM is grounded in the philosophy that senior-level global
executives must think and perform like entrepreneurs. This is most evident during the
global modules and in-between distance learning, where students benet from a combined
theoretical and entrepreneurial approach. In each of the diferent modules, participants
work collaboratively with faculty and peers through nance, risk management, operations
and marketing challenges to arrive at innovative solutions to complex global issues.
It is an ongoing, seamless blend of theory and application that has real-world relevance
for senior executives.
The TRIUM nal term project best reects the culmination of this applied global
entrepreneurial approach. This project is a highly collaborative exercise that
gives participants the opportunity to apply the concepts and techniques learned
through the program to a unique, self-selected global business initiative. Participants
create self-formed groups that identify a strategic global issue and deliver a fully
worked-out business plan. The group project is presented to a board of directors
consisting of TRIUM alumni, professors and academic directors during the nal module.

NETWORK: Graduates earn a single MBA degree issued jointly by NYU
Stern, LSE, and HEC Paris and have access to each schools alumni
network, as well as that of TRIUM.

EXPERIENCED FACULTY
The three schools created a new curriculum designed specifically for
TRIUM to ensure a truly global learning experience. All modules are

Executive MBA

How do executives apply to TRIUM? For application information or other program
questions, call +1-212-998-0442 in the United States, +33 1 39 67 70 94 in Europe, or visit
www.triumemba.org .

What is the first step in the Admissions Process? Complete a brief Preliminary
Information Form at http://www.triumemba.org/admissions/prelimform.php which allows the
Admissions Officers to provide you with early feedback regarding your suitability for the
program.

Who should apply to the TRIUM Global EMBA program? TRIUM is designed for
senior executives at a global corporation or in a firm planning to expand into global markets.
The program focuses on the challenges senior managers face when conducting business
internationally. TRIUM offers its participants the opportunity to pursue an MBA in a cohort
of fast-tracked peers from around the world.

Am I still eligible if I already have an MBA? Yes. Global developments over the past
decade have dramatically changed the business arena. The programs socio-political and
economic perspective, critical areas for global business success but not typically addressed in
MBA curricula, bring additional depth to the program.

What credentials will I receive as a graduate? TRIUM graduates will receive a single
MBA degree issued jointly by NYU Stern, the LSE and HEC Paris.

When are information sessions offered? The Admissions Team organizes recruiting
events throughout the year all over the world. Please visit our website to view the upcoming
events at a location near you. We can also arrange to meet directly with faculty and staff at
selected cities worldwide and at the three partner schools. If you would like to schedule a
meeting, first submit a preliminary information form via our website at www.triumemba.org.

May I speak with a participant as well? Yes. We will be delighted to introduce you to
present students and/or alumni after you have submitted a formal online application via the
TRIUM website: www.triumemba.org.

When does the TRIUM class commence? September. Executives can earn their
degree in just 17 months over three calendar years and will only be away from the office for a
total of approximately 10 weeks during that time period.

What are the application criteria? A record of professional achievement is the most
important factor considered in the application process. An English language test is required
for non-native speakers. English tests must be less than two years old at the time of
application. Candidates with less than 15 years of work experience are

required to take the
GMAT. GMAT test results must be less than 5 years old.
What is the application deadline? Candidates are considered on a rolling admissions
basis, as early as J uly 1 for the following September intake. A number of applicants are
admitted each month until the class closes. Therefore, it is advised to apply as soon as
possible for the following September intake.

Frequently Asked Questions

The only truly

integrated,

truly global

Executive MBA

What are the learning locations, and how are they selected?
TRIUM features six intensive intellectually rigorous modules held in five learning locations.
Modules will be held at NYU Stern, the LSE, HEC Paris and at two additional international
locations chosen annually for their relevance to current business issues.

What is the class size? Approximately 65 places are granted in each class.

Will TRIUM use distance learning? Recognizing the value of the actual classroom,
TRIUM features 10 weeks of intensive class time. Although there are no on-line classes,
approximately 15 hours of distance learning per week will be incorporated into the program
to facilitate preparation, follow-up and work on projects between modules.

Why should I choose TRIUM over a more traditional EMBA program? The
TRIUM program emphasizes the knowledge, skills and perspectives senior global managers
need to conduct successful business in a complex business environment. Participants are
leaders in their respective industries, residing throughout the world. Corporations interested
in developing key employees for positions of increasing global responsibility should consider
TRIUM, not only as a professional development opportunity, but also to help retain top
talent. The internationally diverse TRIUM cohort also gives global executives the
opportunity to build an important lifelong network of relationships.

How does the TRIUM curriculum differ from other global EMBA programs?
TRIUM is the only MBA program to integrate a socio-political economic dimension into its
entire MBA curriculum. LSE, the leading social science institution in the world, brings its
unparalleled wealth in this arena to the program. These areas are recognized as critical to
global business but are often neglected in traditional MBA programs. NYU Sterns
strength in finance and accounting, HEC Paris leadership in marketing and management,
coupled with top-ranked faculty teaching all of the modules at each of their respective home
learning locations (five global sites) ensures academic rigor and excellence throughout the
program.

Does TRIUM offer career services? Fully self-sponsored participants have access to
the career services of all three TRIUM partner schools. Participants who are sponsored by
their companies are not eligible for career services while they are in the program.

To which Alumni Network will I belong? All three, in addition to the TRIUM Alumni
Network. TRIUM alumni have the same privileges as alumni from any of the three partner
schools full-time programs. There are currently over 170,000 alumni from the three
universities, spanning the globe.
